Here is something I've been wondering for quite a while. What would it be like if Sonic X was licensed by FUNimation entertainment? Who would do the voices? What about deleted scenes? Here is what I think:

Sonic X would stay the same as the original Japanese version. There will be no deleted scenes and the music would stay in-tact. The Japanese theme song would stay as well. As for the voices, Here are my picks:

Sonic: Hmm. Not really sure. There doesn't seem to be anyone capable of doing Sonic's role.

Tails: Jason Liebrecht. His voice would no longer be high-pitched, But more grown up. He would sound like an average 14 year old.

Knuckles: Christopher Sabat. He would be perfect as Knuckles!

Silver: Vic Mignogna. Silver's voice would no longer be high pitched but would have a soft voice.

I can't be bothered with everyone else. It's too hot. What are everyone else's opinions on this? Tell me your thoughts.

I'm talking about if they made Season 3/4. 4Kids have lost the license to alot of their money making shows like One Piece and Pokemon, So why not Sonic X? Sonic X was originally intended to be Licensed by FUNimation, But for some reason 4Kids got to it first. Season 4 could have Sonic 06, Shadow, Rivals and Riders game adaptions. It would introduce the new characters too and would flesh them out more like they did with Shadow.

I say redubbing the WHOLE series of Sonic X by a different company would benefit ANYONE

Vic Mignogna's a fantastic voice actor, but I don't see him portraying Silver, possibly but I dunno. XDDD

I actually think that would be great if they re-dubbed the series, though I'd still like Jason to voice Shadow, he puts more effort into him and I like his version. :)

Oh, and I think the ORIGINAL writers learned from the game adaptations they did the first time around. They were just crappy versions of the game versions. EVEN IN JAPANESE!!

Of course, if they can remove Chris for good, they might be able to pull off something watch worthy by my standards for game adaptations. (Then again, I hated Sonic 2006. They REALLY have to do SOMETHING with it to make me like it.)

I dunno I quite enjoyed Shadow's role in the sonic adventure two series, I actually thought the ark battle was REALLY well done. :)

Well if the people that make Sonic X do it right, Then we won't have Elise or Chris to worry about. The only time we see Chris would be at the start of the Season. He goes back home. Then Sonic and his friends would chuck a huge party "Thank god he's gone!". XD Oh and Super Sonic battles would last longer!

The only voice actors for the Sonic series are the people who did the voice acting for the characters in Sonic Adventure 2.

To be honest, the voice acting in adventure two was not all that great, Rouge sounded too young, Knuckles was WAY over serious, Sonic sounded like he was surprised all the time and Tails sounded five.
Not dissing them, just replay it and listen closely and you'll see they don't fit up to today's standards, not saying the 4kids VAs are perfect, but the more I compare the more I'm glad they changed aheh. ^^;

Well would you prefer Rouge's voice in Sonic X or Adv. 2?

Tails' voice was better than what I know of. Well either that or in the original adventure. Knux's voice was genius in there...unlike Sonic X. He sounded like Yami from Yu-Gi-Oh....which really threw me off.

Sonic's voice was really good in adventure 2. I'm not saying Jason Griffith(?) was bad or anything...he just sounded.....emotionless.

If FUNimation did acquire the license to Sonic X, They would not re-use the game voices. No, FUNimation would use their own voice actors.

If they did do their own dub of Sonic X, then I hope they would keep all the cool and catchy phrases intact. Unlike my favorite line from Dragonball Z.

4Kids screwed up hard... that's a commonly know fact for everyone. Deleted scene's, completely other phrases and stupid jokes (while they would be incredibly funny), music deletion and other opening songs. All in all: the many things 4Kids used to make a wreck out of good Anime's.

I sure hope FUNimation would do way better if they've been given the license to Sonic-X. Some voice actor's from 4Kids weren't that bad yet sometimes (and I mean most of that time) it didn't matched to character. I am still a little light flamable about Tails' voice when 4Kids was in charge. Look... they need to become a little more mature, if you let a girl voice Tails (not to put you girls in a disadvantage or something) it would sound younger then the actual age, let a boy voice him and you will find a teenage voice closest to it.

Since Tails is around 14~16 years old (age counting from his debute) a teenage voice would be in order I think. As long as it doesn't sound TO old.

That wasn't 4Kids, by the way.

Also, if Funi was doing Sonic X...? I wouldn't watch it anyways. Never liked the anime. Rather boring, the VAs didn't influence me much on it either. It's not like 4Kids is all bad anyways, as everybody seems to make them out to be.

Maybe I would still hate it, due to the fact of Chris. Sorry, I dont really like that kid
