If you had to choose a character to get kicked off the series who would you choose and why if necessary. If I missed a character, please tell me so I can add it to the list. I included only the main ones though. :]

I'd kick off Cream.

Big the Cat, because he is ACTUALLY a character that dose nothing.

I think Big is cute...I wouldn't want to lose him.


I say Omega. He really doesn't do much but say how much he wants to "Annihilate" Dr. Eggman.

I'd kick out Sonic.

I agree with you. As dumb as he may seem, he has a heart of gold for his pet frog and for anyone else. At least he is a better cat than Blaze. Not only is he cute, he can fish for his own frog if he ever gets lost. And that's a real talent if I do say so myself. :D

Big, hands down.

Because seriously, his fishing trips have nothing to do with Sonic Adventure's storyline, he's only in Sonic Heroes because nobody else could fill up Team Rose's power spot, and he rarely does anything but annoy everyone in Sonic Chronicles. Nearly every Sonic fan hates him, and would love nothing more to have him wiped from the face of the franchise. That's just it from my point of view, anyway. I don't hate Big fans or anything. XP

Second place would be the Chaotix, because they're almost as disconnected to the actual plot of the games as Big. They're better because they're old school, though, and I'd rather have Sega bring back their older characters instead of throwing in a half-***ed new character or two in every single Sonic game.

Big's so.. useless. In Sonic Adventure he's just annoying to play as. Truthfully, I think his missions were the hardest because they're so.. different. @_@; And in Chronicles, all he is is comic relief, in my opinion. Once you get Omega you don't actually need Big anymore.

BIG. I don't really see a point in him, and he gets on my nerves D: words cannot describe how much annoyance I got out of him in Sonic Adventure. And in Chronicles... um, wow.

How can people hate Cream, she's so cute! D8 Anyways, I gotta go with Shadow, he's generic and uncreative. People only like him because he's emo-ish. He's overused, and poorly designed.

True, his design isn´t all that creative and resembles Sonic quite much, but hey - he´s a hedgehog, and Sonic is one, too. And I agree with him being overused, I mean - Tails and Knuckles have been around way longer. =|

Team Chaotix, becuase it would mean 3 characters are let go. The more the better. Someone needs to call the exterminator into the Sonic franchise and cut down the population a little.

The characters in Chaotix themselves, I don't mind. But yeah, I'd rather them let 3 characters go than just one =/ Cream, Big and Rouge are also kinda unfitting for the Sonic world, IMO.

On a second thought, I don´t think we need any characters that appeared after the Genesis era (since Sonic Adventure). Not counting Amy and the Chaotix, though; Amy was already in Sonic CD and the Chaotix was in their own game in '95.

I say we get rid of Big, Omega and Shadow.

The reasons

Big- I find him a little boring, not a very exciting character
Omega- Hmm same as Big. He didnt really do anything.
Shadow- He looked and was just like Sonic from quill to toe. A Sonic wanna be in my eyes.

*looks at the poll options* WHAT! Tails option to kick out of the series? Stay calm... Ok... let's say I am fully against the fact that Tails would be kicked out of the series. I mean come on. He's been with the series in the second game for the earth's sake. He's like the second "Hero" sided besides sonic here. Knuckles isn't much of a go either. He's been with the games a long while to.

Amy, not an option either. It gives a little fun seeing her chasing Sonic over and over again. Hedgehog, I know but quite original.

I don't see much use in Big however. Although he is quite... well... let's say easy going and untroubled. He isn't much of use in the series and only makes it more confusing for the series to take care of all the characters.
Let's say filtering everyone out of the picture after Sonic Hero's, including Big, Omega and (I highly doubt this and mostly I am not sure if she would actually have to.) Cream. (I am so going to get burnt for this.).

Nah I'd say Shadow is considerable, yet a little of a... ahum... Coughripoffcough... Okay a big coughripoffcough. Which could be it's doom/ end/ losing factor/ *enter pessimism*/ etc.

Hm, That would actually end the whole series! XD


Also, I agree with Vanilla on the Cream part. ^^ However, we all truly know that Shadow is much more then just an "emo" character!

Also, I don't know why everybody is complaining about Big, Cream, and Rouge. It's not like they've played a big part at ALL in any of the later games (heck, in Chronicles, you could just let them stew in your party and ignore them). Why complain about them if Sega's not even using them? I mean, if SEGA was going to give them a major part in one of the newer games (and they haven't gotten Rouge a new voice actor) then I might complain, but meh. Not really now.

In any case, I'd kick out Shadow. I loved the one that died in SA2, though.

I'd get rid of Omega. Don't ask why, I just don't have any interest in him at all.
