On Sonic Chronicles, the only person who can get through the toxic gas is Big.

Toxins go into you lungs and then is injected into the blood stream which goes through the entire body. Seems big is incredible non-horizontally limited (not to say he's is fat) needs more poison the be taken in before it is starting to take affect. Lot's of body mass means, lot's of blood, means more toxins to be inhaled/ injected/ etc.

So I think the toxin wouldn't have any to little effect on big since he is... let's say heavily build. hmm... his body mass finally has found it's purpose.

I was just kidding. I honestly don't have any idea, so I'll say I agree with Thierry, as he sounds really quite intelligent at the moment. :]

Here's an idea: He lives in an environment in which such gasses are not uncommon, thus developing an immunity to them.

hahahaha.... yea, at least... so it has been said. I don't know how many times Big has to move through toxic gases, though. Omega is all done already, metal + no organic things that the toxins could mess up = Immunity to toxins.

The mind numbing toxins aren't much use either :T15: . you summed it up pretty much, yet stupid I don't know. He is... let's say none limited in any way (except for certain ways. I mean horizontally, vertically and diagonally ^^;).

About the Toxins, it makes no sense, most toxins are used as agents to shut down the Heart, how can having a greater amount of blood prevent a toxin from shutting down the host's Heart?

Maybe cause he's so stupid that he don't realize he can die by the gas, so he doesn't die, just cause he's so stupid 8D 8D hahahahaha

I think it's because since he's so big, it's harder for the gas to travel through his body and poison him to the point of exhaustion.

LoL, dunno bout Omega, but Big can at least, I guess he's immune or something cause all he do is sneeze when he goes through the gas xD

Wow! I have the game, and once, Big said: "Let's give Big some icecream." When I heard that I said, "O.O O.O O.O" multiple times since I was so scared that Big was acting so stupid.

Probably because he's just so oblivious to and slow. Remember, Sonic is more of a cartoony thing... god it can be so messed up at times. xD
