What do you guys think about Bark the Polar Bear? I keep looking at all of his designs, and he looked like a great character. It's a shame that SEGA dumped him. I think he would've been great!

He's alright I guess. He's a bit slow though. Then again he was a power type character. And because Metal Sonic was such a big cheater in Sonic the Fighters, Defeating him with anyone that wasn't Sonic was hard.

I did like his overall design quite a bit, though I'm not sure if I would've had him go into any other games. Sega might've just made him become another Big character, which wouldn't have been great, but otherwise, I'd give him a yes.

If SEGA ever thought about bringing Bark back, I would support that, but that seems very unlikely at this point. That's the fun thing about fan fiction. You can bring back dumped Sonic characters and attempt to give those characters some development the way you want it! I see Bark similar to Knuckles in many ways.

Bark maybe a power type character but he's not as dumb and stupid as Knuckles. Sega stated before that Bark is a very calm character.

I find his design to quite unique and original. It would be pretty nice If Sega did bring back Bark instead of pumping out another new hedgehog character... >.>

Yep, I agree. Just so long as he doesn't become another Big... *shudders* But yeah, it's unlikely. They only want to bring what is "fresh" and new to make fans want to buy things. Its how it works.
