Somebody brought this to my attention.

In Sonic and the Black Knight, at the very end, Amy gets mad at Sonic for missing their date. O.O
That would mean...Sonic would have had to ask her out, I suppose you could argue Amy made it up, but Sonic said "I can explain!" acknowledging that he was supposed to be taking her out.

So...Sonic and Amy are officially dating? O.o

(Is secretly calibrating)

Maybe... I'm told that in one Sonic X episode, Sonic tells Amy that he likes her or something.. I'm not sure, that was a while back.

Well, you could actually make a "ask out on a date" scene happen in Sonic Unleashed.

It's pretty basic. You just talk to Amy after each big Mission that involves getting a Key or facing a final boss. Then, right before going off to Eggmanland, you talk to Amy and she says something along the lines of there being only one Emerald left and asking Sonic to take her out on a date after it's over. After that, you get to pick Sonic saying "Yes" or "No".

Knowing Amy, you can easily guess what her reaction would be to each one. :T0:

Seeing how things are now going between the two, if I see new characters like "Sonic Jr." in the games in maybe 5+ years, I won't be surprised. :T7:

I also saw some stuff like this in Sonic Chronicles : The Dark Brotherhood .
You get to choose a relationship with Amy . I've gone with 'yes' .
It would be cool if SonAmy really happened .

I honestly doubt that Sonic will ever "officially" date Amy in the game canon. It's simply out of character for him. Also, for the part about SATBK...

Given, I haven't seen this particular scene yet, but maybe it was one of those situations where he didn't ask Amy out, Amy asked him out and he didn't want to say no for various reasons (being smashed into the ground, mean, *insert speculation here*). Then, he would probably not have shown up just because he didn't actually want to do it in the first place, and then Amy's mad at him and he's fumbling for an explanation, yadda yadda yadda.

Then again, that's just my theory, so you know. I honestly think it's just Amy lusting over him, and I doubt that they'll date at anytime during the series.

I thought they date all the time! Just Sonic doesn't stay to long with Amy...

In Sonic 06, I'm not sure, but you have this love thingy with Amy and Elise, and if you choose Amy it says she's his long time love or something.

And, in the same game, when Amy defended him, he didn't go ''Amy, go away!'' he said, ''Thanks Amy. I appreciate it.''




That's all I've got. Plenty more in Sonic Riders and stuff.

Well I doubt it. SEGA already said Sonic will never officially be in any kind of relationship. If they made SonAmy official, I'd see it as a bad move, because you'd lose the hilarity of Amy's obsessive nature towards Sonic.

Plus, in all of Sonic history, whose the only one who asked the other out on a date. Exactly...

Referring to the SonAmy moment on Sonic X, I think you might be referring to the episode when they were on a cruise. Sonic tricked his friends into going crazy so he could get to shore sooner.

I would die. I cannot live in a world where SonAmy is that official. Lucky for me, Sonic is still his ol' self, and a full relationship would be death for the franchise. So hurray for me, and I'm sorry to the SonAmy fans. XDDDDD *re-emphasises my fandom for SalSonic*
