Even when you've idolised a fictitious character, you often feel sorry for them once in a while! So, when did you share Tails' pain the most?
For me, it has to be the ending of Sonic X, where Tails cries that Cosmo is dead - I couldn't watch his tears :T10: I felt so sorry for him then.. what about you? I have this feeling that the above scene will resonate with the people who post here..

Yes I felt sorry for Tails and felt his pain at the end of Sonic X but I also feel sorry for him when he has little belief in himself.

I feel sorry for Tails just whenever he cries D= it hurts me. It makes me cry with him rly... Also how he was so alone before Sonic gave him a new life >= he felt like I do now. Lost, sad, and waiting for someone to rescue him.

I feel sorry for Tails every time he is hurt and/or neglected. I feel that I really share his pain and it pangs me with a vengeance ><. He really means a lot to me and any time he is in physical or emotional distress it really hits me hard. I barely made it through the last episodes of Sonic X it hit me so bad. I only know a general idea of what happened cause I couldn't take it.

Well you know, how Sega doesn't make him playable in the new games much.

Yes, this is the season with Cosmo. But there is some people like me who talks about two seasons. The first one with 52 episodes, the second one with 26.

Well, yeah, I think most of us have felt sympathetic feeling toward a fictitious character in a certain situation, unless we're just really oblivious. It's actually a pretty healthy sign--it shows you're sensitive (in the good way... hopefully), and can think things through well enough to the point to think, "What if I were in that same exact situation? What would I do?" And if/when we assure with ourselves that we'd feel the same way if we were in their shoes, then that's when we start to feel sympathy.

But sorry, I'm getting too general.
I did feel sympathetic at the end of the last Sonic-X episode (the Japanese one, not the English-dubbed one, mind you), also, though. Of course, that's not suprising for me, because I tend to feel that way all the time during the right times... y'know... but more during serious times--not like I feel that way when a char gets hurt in a video game or something (unless it's Harvest Moon, lulz... but that's emotionally) I just think too hard about things, I guess.

It's between Cosmo's death and Fiona's rejection. I mean he was heartbroken both times. He seemed to be ok back on Sonic's world after Cosmo died. He was really messed up in the comic though. I mean he took it out on Sonic because he dated Fiona at one point to try to get him to move on from her since she was too old for him. Yeah I'm gonna say Fiona's rejection.

Cosmo's death was one of the saddest moments in Sonic history, but it was even harder to sit down and watch Tails suffer as his heart crumbles little by little til it shatters completely by the hand of Fiona. Yeah she slapped him too. It was just torture... No one wants to see their favorite character from Sonic suffer like that!

Sorry for being in the minority. I didn't read anyone's post really but if I had to guess, I'm sure most people said Cosmo.

I feel sorry for Tails since SEGA has pretty much made him the most kiddish and incompetent Fox ever through their latest games and Sonic X.

She's from the USA Sonic Comic (Wich is part SatAM)

I'm starting to feel sorry for him too much with the way he gets handed these hopeless storylines. I just wish there was something that SEGA could do to help Tails out instead of knocking him down even further...

I don't recall a time feeling sorry for him much, but one time I distinctly remember is from SA2.

The part when they're trying to fake Eggman out with the fake yellow emerald, and he thinks Eggmam already knows, and he says, "So, how did you know it wasn't the real one?". Then Eggman smiles and says, "Because you just told me, Foxboy."

Lol I don't know how I remember that though, since I haven't played through that game since '06 :/
