*Black Knight Spoilers*


Merlina, Sonic's first real female main villain.

I thought it was interesting they dropped little hints while playing the game, and you totally assumed that King Aurthur was the villain, then they surprised us.
I also thought it was cool that the motive behind her evil was sadness, not just being evil.
And trying to kill Sonic, wow, hardcore, especially since she would have succeeded if not for the talking sword getting in the way. =.

What's your opinion on Merlina?

I think she was just afraid... she thought to stop fate of the kingdom and make in eternal. Well... all she did was ending it and corrupting it XP.

She... wasn't that much evil now wasn't she? I mean... She only feared the kingdom would end. And then Sonic comes by and wants to let it flow on like the wind ^^.

'T was pretty awesome to see a female villain for a change. Normally it either dealt with demolishing robots, power hungry lunatics, world crushers, Eggman, and monsters. This was very good actually and it turned out pretty well.

I must say I didn't get the withered flower moment when she picked up the flower, but when I saw her in her dark form... I understood.

Nice plot twist ^^.

Oh son of a *****! I don't know if it was the topic title or the screen shot that spoiled it first for me. You have to understand Trixie that people will see the picture before reading "Spoiler Alert," that you almost seemed to hide at the top. And if they see the picture then they will most likely see the subtext under it "Merlina, Sonic's first real female villain."

Also I'll have to say that, no. She is not the first real female villain of Sonic. That would be disregarding every female before her. Examples? Well let's see. First of all Rouge can be considered a villain in some aspects. Sure she's working for GUN now but she's still a jewel thief and still aided Robotnik. Wave the Swallow can also be considered a villain too.. Since you simply said Sonic, you didn't keep it bound to just the game universe either.

What about Fiona Fox? She dated Sonic and not only dumped him for the complete opposite which is Scourge (Anti-Sonic) but delivered one of the biggest slaps in the face to Tails. Which completely makes you forget about Sally's slap to Sonic IMO. She's definitely a villain now. And Lien Da of the Black Legion. No real explanation needed there. If you wanna get nit picky then I could say Nic the Weasel (Nack's younger sister) also. There's probably a bit more I just can't remember right now but Merlina is not the first Female villain of Sonic.

But back to what I was saying before ranting, couldn't you have just had the title as Merlina? Sure you can talk about the huge twist in the story but maybe under some kind of noticeable Spoiler tag and giving a link in said Spoiler tag instead of posting the actual picture. I know you put "Black Knight Spoilers" at the top but that's not gonna help if you have that really big picture revealing probably the biggest plot twist of the game right smack under it. Also the topic title. Merlina / The Dark Queen. No one is stupid enough to not put the two together. It's not like you're trying to talk about two completely different characters.

It's like you didn't even try...

Btw I'm sorry for the swear word in the beginning but it's what I said out loud.

I somehow doubt you can consider many of those characters you listed main villains.

Ahh I didn't see the word "main." That's still fine. Lien Da would be the first for that.

Dash... please... I know it's annoying, but there is not really much need to type it when you shout it out loud. I know you are sorry... but still... there was not simply a need to say so. Tell her in a more polite manner would help more than just swearing someone's head off.

Hmm yes... Merlina is one of the first MAIN female villains I know so far.

Lien Da was Knuckle's villain mostly, not Sonic's. =/
