Warriors: Redfur's betrayal

Moonlight washed over the stone hollow, Bright as day, But beneath the bushes and at the the edges under the cliffs, dark shadows seemed to uncoil like claws. Mossclaw was sitting in the middle of the clearing. He was on guard duty after hearing rumors of foxes on the prowl. Suddenly, he heard rustling coming from the brambles covering the camp entrance. He was about to call the alarm until he saw who walked in. “Redfur? What are you doing out so late?” Mossclaw asked. Redfur looked at his friend. “Er...I couldn't sleep so I thought I'd go for a walk and do a bit of hunting for the Clan.” He meowed. “Very well then. Go and put your catch on the fresh kill pile and get some sleep. And tell Foxwhisker it's his turn to guard the Camp.” Mossclaw meowed. Redfur did as he was told and then walked into the Warriors den. He looked around for Foxwhisker and found him sleeping near Truetail, Who was tossing and turning in his sleep. Redfur walked over to them and prodded Foxwhisker with his paw. “Hey, wake up. Mossclaw said it's your turn to guard the camp.” He meowed. Foxwhisker stirred and blinked the sleep out of his eyes. Okay. I'm up.” he meowed sleepily. He padded out of the Warriors den and walked into the clearing to meet Mossclaw. “Mossclaw? May I speak to you?” Foxwhisker asked. “Of course. What's the problem?” Mossclaw asked. It's....It's Redfur. Lately I've seen him sneaking out of camp at night, And he's been coming back with ShadowClan scent attached to his pelt.” he meowed. “Hmm...How long have noticed this for?” Mossclaw asked. “For about a quarter moon.” Foxwhisker replied. “I will talk to Owlstar about this and see what he thinks. For now, Keep an eye on Redfur for me and let me know if he does anything else.” Mossclaw meowed. “Of course, Mossclaw.” Foxwhisker meowed.


I finally finished the first chapter. ^_^ Hope you all enjoy it! Who knows what could happen in the second chapter...Feel free to rate and review. What should be changed or fixed up? I know this may seem a bit short, But it looked really long when writing it on paper ^^;;; I promise Chapter 2 will be twice as big!

You told me you toss and turn alot when you're sleeping, So it just stuck. XP And I suppose I should post a small guide:

Character representation: I've chosen some TTFF members for my cats. The cats have the same personality as the members they represent. For now there are only 4 but Pm me if you wish for a cameo and I'll fit you in somehow.

Mossclaw: Gray and ginger tom with white chest and amber eyes. TTFF member: Hollyleaf/Firestar (me)

Redfur: Reddish tabby tom with green eyes. TTFF member: Red Fox

Foxwhisker: orange tom with white chest and muzzle. Blue eyes. TTFF member: CLF

Truetail: Chestnut brown tom. TTFF: Trueaim Prower.
