The forum doesn't allow me to post in the Rules section, so I shall post it here.

I often see topics about Sonic characters in the General section of the forum. For example, I have seen a topic about Eggman posted in the General section.

Character topics such as that belong in the Other Character Discussions part of the forum, not in General. I don't understand what motivates the members to post them in General, but they do. All character topics go either in the Miles "Tails" Prower section or the Other Character Discussions sections, not in General.

You know, common sense.

I haven't seen very much of it either, but there's nothing wrong with giving a heads up. Especially since a lot of topics created in the wrong forum are never moved, even if asked.

I guess because we have limitations of what we can do in the forums. We can only move topics that are in the forums we watch over. So I can't move topics in the fan section but I can move ones that I watch over.

Yes. That is very annoying.
It gets irratating when you ask a mod to do something like that, but they don't do it, even though it breaks a rule. Really, it's sometimes like mods don't want to obey the rules themselves.
Oh, blah, but I won't get into that.

Limitations, that's why. She can only move topics that she watches over. You're a Super Mod Vertigo so you can move in any forum.

I agree with this completly... General should be more like discussing just well... GENERAL things and not characters... I hope this goes well... ^^

Just a suggestion but you could PM the mod that they need to move the post... and to alert them...

I only have moderating powers in the forums I am assigned to, Vertigo. I am not assigned to the General forum, therefore I can't.

Hmmm...I'll see if I can move this to the rules forum ^_^
