The Two Tailed Fox forums is trying contests as a way to give the forum an activity and a goal to work towards. This topic is specifically designed for members to submit the ability to run their contest in here, to see the 1-4 running contests.

To submit your contest you must have a topic, a defined award, a statement of how long the contest will run, and how many can join it. you must also know a way to decide a winner.

Staff contests will show up bimonthly and be themed in some way. winners of that will be chosen different ways depending on the contest.

each contest will state the creator, and the topic of the contest. it will also state an end date for submitting to it.

I'm thinking of making a contest as well...it's gonna be a music type contest. Basically, create a piccy with lyrics of any song yoo wish and yoo gotta include at least some of the lyrics in the the piccy.

I thought I'd just say it here first...of course, I haven't gone into detail yet but yah..that's the general idea. :]

Topic: Ok the contest is to decorate a 2 dimensional egg! And it has to be this one:
That way everyone has something to start with^^ The point of this well it's easter and I know most people here like to decorate eggs so I thought this would be fun for everyone^^;

Awards: Ok Ill have two awards: Most Creative and Best Decorated Both with a prize of a sprite animation of their charry or a Sonic charry of their choice!

How long?: Well if I start now the submissions would end on April 10th and the whole contest will be over by April 14th with 2 winners.

How will a winner be decided?: When all submissions are in a ill post two polls with all submissions in for both awards Best Creative and Most Decorative!

How many?: I think up to 8 submissions will be fair since a lot of people don't usually enter contest very often.

Is that good enough?

I have a contest idea... everyone enjoys Adam and adores him ^_^

and I thought of a contest idea... since I like to have a lot of artwork of him, I'd like to make a contest... all art has a guarenteed chance of being archived in Adam's topic, which is viewed quite a bit, and the winner will receive a picture of their fancharacter of their choice by Tails Is A Legend.


Judges will determine who has the best artwork.


This is open to all forms of art: drawings, pixel arts, sprites, signatures, avatars, blockies, blinkies... etc....


PM me if you want to be a judge. I will hire up to 5 (most likely only 3) on a first come first served basis. Also the contest deadline will be 2 weeks from original post date.

I have a contest idea.

My contest is all about Chao. You have to draw either one of my characters (Ky, Sol, Swift or Sniper) as a Chao. The limit is 2 entries per character. It doesn't stop at drawing either. You can do sprites, pixel art or computer art. The contest lasts for 3 weeks. Serenity and I will be the judges. The prizes are listed below.

1st prize: 3 drawings of any fanchararacter or Sonic character of your choice

2nd prize: 2 drawings of any fancharacter or Sonic character of your choice

3rd prize: 1 drawing of any Sonic character.

Proposal: A sprite card making tournament using ripped cards from Sonic Battle. For those who want to enter but don't have the ripped card sprites, they will be provided.

How many: 7 people. I will be participating, too. Don't worry, I've losts my own tournaments that I've made.

Sounds good except for one thing. You need to have a set length so people know how long they have. And since this is being judged by everyone on the forum, I'll let you participate yourself. Otherwise, I would not have allowed that, just so you know.

Topic: A contest to show off your pixel arting skills. (PIXEL ART ONLY; NO SPRITES OR SPRITE SHEETS. Also, it has to be made PIXEL BY PIXEL. If I don't see that in an entry, I'll probably just ask teh person who entered it about it.... =\)

1st place- a custom pixel art of ONE character, whether it be official character or a fan character; alot of effort put into shading (pretty much means that I'll put alot of tones in it. By teh way, the awards are made by me....XP).
2nd place- Same as above, except only 3 or 4 tones per color.
3rd place- and edited pixel art of sprite of a fan character. (pixel art or sprite? Your choice. =PP)

You're better off, if you're editing, doing a mjor edit instead of a minor edit or a fusion.

details: I am lacking inspiration for my fan fictions and I just LOVE seeing fan art, so I thought it would be pretty awesome if there was a contest based around my fan fictions ^_____^ (squeeeeeeeeeeeee ^^)

Trixie had just realized she still had that power ring from before wrapped around her tail.
“Why on earth do I have this? I didn’t yet when I arrived here it just showed up in my hand?” thought Trixie taking the ring.

The ring was glowing a pure yellow very brightly and the glowing era was just so beautiful to look at but Trixie had no time to be distracted.

The glow of the power ring reflected onto her locket on pure coincidence…she knew how to use power rings she was never good at it she never did it before but Tails showed her how it worked in the past because he had used to arm the tornado with them for Sonic in the past.

“That’s what the ring is for! I have to use it to defeat Blake!” exclaimed Trixie.

Trixie hesitantly tucked the ring away sliding it over one of her tails, The wind blew on her face, but she suddenly wore look like she was ready for absolutely anything, everything was all on her she was the only one left who could stand up to Blake.

Well, I was thinking of making a contest. It's rather different than the regular tournaments and voting styles, but, I hope it's okay. ^^
Here's the full explanation I made earlier to be copied and pasted into the topic (once it's approved/ if it's approved).

So, yeah, this is pretty random idea, but I kinda think it'll go alright. ^^;

It's a monthly long-term contest. Each month, ther will be a new topic with the same title only stating the month.

Example:
"Guess Kirby's next color! (Feb. 2008)"

Oh, and it won't be in poll style for a reason, also; I need to know WHO voted WHAt, not how many people voted for what. ^^;;

So, if its approved, I guess we'll see how it goes at first, and then I'll change it to a poll-style contest if necessary. ^^

And I know that the award isn't really "defined", so, if staff would like to know, ask me via PM.
Of course, however, if staff knows, that means that they can join, but won't be able to win anything.

Of course, I dunno. Would staff like me to explain to them the award?

Okay, I've got a contest idea.
It's a Sonic Pirate contest.
Members can submit a picture of an official Sonic character or their own character, and they got to look like a pirate!
I'm going to accept Drawings, Computer Art, and Pixel art (as long as it isn't too small)
Submission would last for two weeks, and then I would decide on the winners
For prizes it would be,
First: 3 drawings of their choice. Colored or not colored. /drawn or computer drawn.
Second: 2 drawings of their choice. Colored or not colored. /drawn or computer drawn.
Third: 1 drawing of their choice. Colored or not colored. /drawn or computer drawn.
I will also have an Honorable Mentions for an entry that did not win. Which they will recieve One drawing of their choice.

If I need to put anything else in, just tell me and I'll edit this.
