Title: Who loves to read?
Description: 8D

Yakumo - April 17, 2007 10:43 PM (GMT)
I noticed that it seems quite a few people hate reading.Well,I LOVE reading.It's one of my fav things to do.Whenever we play games that normally EVERYONE likes at school,I always ask my techer "Do we have to play?" because I just want to sit and read.I don't really understand why some people hate reading,but I guess everyone has different opinions.
Mostly,though,I only like Fantasy books.There ARE some books that I like that are just Fiction,but htose are the only exceptions.

Anyone else here love (or at least LIKE) reading? :P

Adam Prower - April 17, 2007 11:17 PM (GMT)
NUUU!!! no books for me!!!

reading= death X.X

Edgewalker_001 - April 17, 2007 11:37 PM (GMT)
I thought you'd never ask!!!
Reading's the reason I've got me m4d 3n6115h zk111z xD

I basically read anything in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre, especially if it's in English.

My problem is that while my memory unerringly records any bad jokes/puns or witty comments/one liners, I tend to forget names very easily... I have this problem all the time, not just with characters in books...

A.F.R.O - April 18, 2007 12:17 AM (GMT)
I like to read most books, but some series or authors I love to read!

It helps increase my vocab and spelling (yet I still always lose at scrabble!) and gives me idea when it comes to my english exam and I have to write a story!

Edgewalker_001 - April 18, 2007 12:26 AM (GMT)
Heh, at my latest English exam (My FINAL exam, actually...) we were tasked to write a short essay on one of several preselected subjects...
I choose the "How IT has changed schoolwork in the last 4 years" one.
I wrote a three-page essay describing in detail all the ways I could've cheated during that exam (Since I was allowed to use my laptop to write it.) Surprisingly, I got an A+...

Lisa Fox - April 20, 2007 11:34 PM (GMT)
For me, I really do love reading. But if the book isn't very good I can't read more than a page a day X_X like, I was reading this one book for a book report but...I really didn't like it, so I switched to a better book and I'm in LOVE with it, I'm almost done, and it's a LOT longer, by about 500 or 600 pages longer. xD

Lucifer Sam - April 21, 2007 02:53 PM (GMT)
I've somewhat neglected reading until recently (as in the past two years). I've started reading more and more, and much faster. Two books in particular that I've really liked are Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 and Ayn Rand's Anthem. Read each in about two days.

Sectumsempra - April 21, 2007 06:20 PM (GMT)
I LOVE READING!I always can find myself lost within the pages of a great fantasy/Fiction book <3

Spedz - April 25, 2007 02:31 AM (GMT)
Well.... **** froze over. I like to read now.

Ryuzaki - April 26, 2007 02:01 PM (GMT)
I thought you'd never ask...

Reading is one of the most fun things anyone can do! You learn, you have fun, AND you can imagine anything you want!

Galener the fox mage - April 27, 2007 04:45 AM (GMT)

The only books I read are Doctor Who and Torchwood

Ryuzaki - April 30, 2007 04:14 AM (GMT)
O.O... It is...? April 17 is considered OLD now...? I'm screwed.... x.x

Yeah! If it's a book about five little kittens... you can imagine five kittens crawling around being all cute!!! I have actually written and published a book! I have another about to be published within the month of May!

Shadow_the_vampire_slayer - May 6, 2007 08:35 PM (GMT)
Wormwood by G.P. Taylor is the best book ever! Very good for fantasy readers

Sunshine the hedgehog - May 15, 2007 09:43 PM (GMT)
I read The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, but I only read up to page 81. I'll read more later.

Immortal Cookie - May 28, 2007 11:54 PM (GMT)
I've recently discovered that I really like to read. ^^ I don't do it in my spare time too much at home though, but I read whenever I can at school pretty much. At school, I always have my nose in a Series of Unfortunate Events book. And I'm just like you Yakumo xD I always hated playing the stupid games at school and I often ditch them so I could just watch, draw, or read. xD

Syzygy - May 29, 2007 12:51 AM (GMT)
I love reading, its one of my favorite things to do in my spare time. Right now I'm reading "Lilith" by George Macdonald, along with about 7 other books I haven't had time to finish. ^_^

DragonFlame - May 30, 2007 06:10 PM (GMT)
Well i like a good book, mostly fantasy me to. But i am a real slow reader makes me fall out of any books if they dont make me interested enough, and then i am out of the story.
Another thing is that i have my school, and it isn`t finished before late june. And that is exam and exam mostly, well anyway i think reading books are okay if they make me interested. :thumbsup:

Sunoku - June 11, 2007 06:04 PM (GMT)
Personaly, I only read in the videp games, man. Any where else (Eccept forums) is a big drag. Just me though, man.

Neo the Hawk - August 10, 2007 02:34 AM (GMT)
I do love to read but i dont read in the summer alot becauce i get on here as much as i can

Saber - August 10, 2007 11:53 PM (GMT)
I do the same as Neo.

Sonic the Hedgehog100 - August 17, 2007 05:34 PM (GMT)
I love reading! But that's partially because I am an extremely fast reader (yes, I read VERY carefully, I don't skimp). For someone who's a slow reader, reading slowly each few words, I can imagine why they hate reading.

Shadow_the_vampire_slayer - August 21, 2007 07:29 PM (GMT)
I have always been told that the best teacher in the whole world is a book and it is completely true as it broadens your vocabulary, helps to teach you literacy skills, can exercise and increase your imagination and it can even improve your decifering ability. Its all proven fact. I am talking about fiction and non-fiction BTW. The best bit about all that is that its completely sub-consious and so you are un-aware of readings effects on the brain.

When I was at school only a few months ago at the end of year 11 before the exams all I heard in English class is "I have never read a book in my life" or "I've never seen a libary before" (I have actually heard this from real class mates) this always comes from the thick kids who are destined and sometimes unfortunately fated for a bad grade and a job in the fish-gutting industry in a East-London factory. I can guarantee it (no offence to those people as it has been proven)

~Hakumei~ - November 4, 2007 11:16 PM (GMT)
I love reading. :]
I don't like to sound like a nerd but it is true! I read whenever I have free time...
I read Harry Potter 7 in two or so days, so maybe I'm fast too... ^^;
I feel nerdy. -.-;
Oh well. ^.^;
Reading rocks.

Happy Chao - November 5, 2007 07:46 AM (GMT)
I like reading! I got Outcast yesterday and finished it an hour later ^^;;;

cobra - November 7, 2007 09:30 AM (GMT)
Just finished reading Carl Sagan's The Demon Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark....I finished it about a week ago.

Been reading some books on M-Theory also.

Conker - November 7, 2007 02:04 PM (GMT)
I rarely read books. I've read one in the last 2 or so years. TV is all i need to feed my strange imagination. I do most of my reading on the internet, often forums and articles but really that's it.

edit: lol @ b&

Red Fox - November 13, 2007 08:38 AM (GMT)

Blacky C. - November 14, 2007 01:26 AM (GMT)
I usually read the Sonic comics and I had book called Three Weeks With My Brother that I liked now it's lost.

guns go bang!! - November 15, 2007 12:40 PM (GMT)
I use to adore reading D:

But now I just don't find it as interesting anymore...also another reason but too lazy to type out. |:

I have these two novels that my mum has given me though from when she was younger and they're really swell for a quick read. One's called 'Katie And Those Boys' (I think...it has more than one name -slap'd-) and 'The Shark In Charlie's Window' (once again, I think...I can't really remember) so yah. They've always amused me. :]

I also like fan-fiction. But not any fan-fiction...lately it's been alot of SasuNaru fan-fiction. I also read lots of manga but yah D:

Yin - December 5, 2007 08:51 PM (GMT)
