I think some of you may have heard of this mysterious character. His name is Nazo. All that is known about him is a mystery...the only clue of what he is is one picture:

I wish they did have Nazo, and as a villian. He looks to be better suited as a villian. People would be like "Oh no, not another charrie!" but it would have been interesting to see what they had planned for him.

Alternately (SP?), she might be another form of Sonic, or Sonic's super form but someone messed up the colours. lol

I thought he was supposed to be a template for Super Sonic or Silver way back when. I was thinking of using him for one of my fics awhile ago. Don't know if I still will or not.

I actually think Nazo was prototype version for Super Sonic before Sonic X was released. Some people also think Nazo is "Hyper Sonic". After minutes of searching I found this:

I think Nazo was a discarded char. Although I've seen Sonic turn into a black/dark purple hedgehog on a Sonic X episode when he got really angry so maybe its another form when he experiences a certain emotion or when he has a load of planet eggs (as opposed to chaos emeralds causing Super Sonic). Afterall that grin looks like it comes from Sonic.

Well as far as I know Nazo is mysterious character that appeared at sonic once time!But no one knows why he didn't have appeared anymore in any place!Will he appear in a next Sonic serie?But in general the question is who is Nazo?

Does not exist, and was the prototype of supersonic in the piolit episode in japan, its a mystery because the producers want you to think its someone new, its just the prototype for sonics super form look lolz

I have to agree, I think that it's probably a new type of super form for Sonic. As said, his grin looks like Sonic's. Also, if you look closely, he has green eyes like Sonic. Any character have green eyes, but yeah. ^^; But also, the shininess kind of points to a super form of some type, because no character is naturally that shiny.

The shape of the eyes throws that theory off a little though.

Nazo is comepletely fake and will not appear in ANY Sonic series.
And you are all saying he's a "Mystery" that's his NAME in english, his japanese Name is Nazo, which MEANS mystery.

Now that I think about it, he's probably a character who was made by the producers of Sonic X and thrown on websites like wikipedia and fan sites to rake in viewers, who wanna see him. Like said by Naruto, the name "Nazo" means Mystery so when people realise what the word means they think "OMG I must know who this is" then they start watching the show every day in order to work out who this Nazo is but he never appears because he was never used in the shows. Quite cunning actually, very shreud. There are a lot of hidden cons like this to get people to do things, we all have to wise up to it.

thats a complete waste of advritisement and time, it was a piolit episode, all secret, only the producers and team knew about it, and then it leaked, so people are all "OH MY GOD!!! BLAH BLAH NAZO!" its completly proposterous, im not trying to bash anyone.

It's likely either a promotion made by the creators of the show, or a prototype of some sort for a powered-up Sonic. Judging by the title "Nazo", it was probably the former. It'd be nice to see some official confirmation, though.
