There's not much to say, I prefered the other board..It was faster, quicker to browse through, cooler looking..and you didn't have all those annoying pop-ups..I seriously still can't figure out why you changed the board...the other one was awesome already..

For me...
This board is much faster than the other one.
I care more about the content then the look.
I don't get any pop-ups.
This one is pretty awesome all by itself.

Yeah I have no idea what you're talking about with the popups, I have never gotten one while visiting here... As for the look and stuff, it takes a while for us to get get everything back together in working order. Like Sketching said, content > look.
And most of us just haven't been able to do this yet because we all have something to do currently. I myself have several exams and diplomas coming this week, so I don't really have time for anything right now.

Well I have these two annoying pop ups everytime I load the forum and If I close one of them the forum wont load...

Besides I just prefered the look and feel of the other forum..I just don't understand why we had to change...

I don't get any pop-ups although the google ads get annoying.

Guys, ads aren't evitable, and by the way the old forum has ads too, cos we're using FREE hosting.
Jiyaom, you are getting popups? That's funny because there shouldn't be any.. Tried using an y pop up blockers?

Also, this board is more easy manageable for the mods, who are doing a really great job, so please give this board a chance before quiting. We have spent some time setting it up.

yeah, but The ads are more noticable here.
Anyway, Jiyaom, what browseer are you using? Other browsers have better pop-up blocking systems.

I prefer the phpBB board too.

I feel inclined to agree with Jiyaom. The wide empty margins on the left and right sides bother me. Concerning content, both UCPSB v1 and v2 are directly comparable. The fact is that participation will remain down while UPSB v3 stays unreleased and members may feel discouraged to continue PS as a result. This is the thing to fret about, not the layout.

I would think that a board being up while UPSBV3 is down would actually stimulate activity with the spinners...

well i dont like this board either, not feeling black but it's still better then nothing :D
with the ads, y not download firefox and download the extention adblock, it filters out all the ads wen u load the page, i dont see any ads except at the top :rolleyes:

I don't know if it's possible to move the pens modifications board on the old forum to here because me and maybe some peoples are not registred on the old one and some peoples told me that they were a lot of pens modifications tutorials on the old one :o

Or if you can't... I hope guys can just copy/paste them here or rewrite them :D

Actually the old mods and some members are working on UPSB3 currently. So they spend a lot of their time doing that.

I noticed that they did some work. They putted up the blacklist and the whitelist.

That was there a while ago. Check the date.

The 'latest' post was 5/12/05.

However, the content will no longer be there. All the cool mods and tutorials... past battles etc. all gone... sigh.

Actually it's advancing a lot more than you know... ;)

I believe they only began recently since there was an extended hiatus due to Kam's absence. Realistically I'm hoping the board will open before UCPSB celebrates its maiden anniversary. Shortly after UPSB's closure, Zombo mentioned that it's up to the members to re-create the majority of the content. While I do think that tutorials (and pen reviews, etc.) are a staple of the board and should thus remain, I feel that everything else should be reconstructed from scratch, even the battles. UPSB v3 will allow for a fresh start under a new system and the challenge lies in making the board superior to its predecessor.
