hey um i was just makin an mx and i didnt really know how to put on the tip

i have a uni-ball gel impact tip

Most people will say teflon tape. I will say sticky tack. Others will say glue or even super glue. Be creative.

i jus bought a bunch of blue sticky tack and its really good. no mess, adn u could prolly use it for weighting purposes if u wanted. but its widely known that super glue is prolly a bad choice. its really messy and makes the tip easily breakable(the plastic inside)

darkinertia - May 26, 2006 04:46 AM (GMT)
just slam it on a table. that simple

InhumanElmo - May 26, 2006 11:09 AM (GMT)
The slam on the table works well, but make sure u don't break it.

Only if you use it incorrectly, all my mods use super glue and I've never had a pen break.

uniball tips don't go on the best, so i would suggest super glue.

well, i thought of another idea maybe it would be a good idea to wrap tape around the rsvp tip the place the metal tip on that and get a bic matic grip and put it on making it also hold the tip on. Is that a good idea?

slam it on the table? wtf? i dont get that

Set the metal tip on the plastic tip like normal, then bang the pen, tip down, on a table to drive it further onto the plastic tip. Obviously, you don't want to do it hard enough to break the plastic tip.

That's what I do to get the metal HGG tip to stay in the end of my comssa caps.

i think i got a better tip and grip from a uni-ball signo 207. I think it works really well plus the grip can hold the tip down and putting masking tape on the rsvp works well too.

ive done it REALLY hard b4, never breaks unless maybe you bend it at the wrong angle or something

its saves a lot of extra work too but if you dont hit hard enough it MIGHT come off but it hasnt happen to me yet

I just noticed after getting a Hybrid Gel Roller; the tip on the roller (same as HGG) is REALLY LIGHT!!! Compared to oter tips I have used, such as the flexgrip ultras, it is very light.

el3ctricAmp - May 30, 2006 10:18 PM (GMT)
yeh inhuman elmo ur right

hey guys do u think u guys can list a couple of alternative tips? if some of us are ever in the store and can't find an HGG or HGroller we can know

like heres a couple i use if i dont have an hgg/hgr:

uniball signo 207 ((clicky))
uniball gel impact
