Made this last night.
Its retractable and it spins great.
RSVP Type R
Tutorial
Weight: 13 grams
Length: 18.5 cm
Pens needed:
RSVP Retractable
RSVP
G2
Profile
Preparation
1. Cut the RSVP Retractable so that it looks like this. There should be 1.5cm left on the end pass the barrel.
2. Cut the G2 so it looks like this. It should be 3cm.
3. Cut a piece of the RSVP Retractable tip so that it looks like this.
4. Replace G2 grip with profile grip.
Assemble
1. Put G2 on RSVP Retractable.
2. Slide the piece that you cut off the RSVP Retractable tip on ink tube from the RSVP. Then put the spring from RSVP Retractable on the tube. Cut a little off the end of the ink tube cause it is a tad bit to long.
3. Put insert and ink tube in and screw the G2 tip to the rest of the pen.
4. Put a piece of tape on pen. This keeps the cap from moving around. Use a thin piece of tape because if the tape is too thick then cap want pop back up when you click it.
5. Put cap on and break off clip.
Have fun spinning.
Tip:
With measurements given the pen spins really good. Just know that if you make a piece longer or shorter it might not spin that well but who knows it might spin better.

DI, you can only buy RSVPs that have the barcode sticker on them if they are bought separately. (i.e., if they don't come in packs, and you buy just one from one of those "jars" at office supply registers. You know what I mean?)

a few of my pentel sunbursts had barcode stickers on them...i don't remember why though.

I've bought rsvp's in packs and they come with the sticker barcode things on them it's rsvp retractable, and i thought he meant it was like printed on or like not a sticker but like just there

As soon as I can make it to the store to get some G2s and retractables, I'm going to make this. I'll tell you how it turns out.
As for the barcode discussion.. They are not put on all RSVPs that come in packs. They are put on all RSVPs that are sold separately (excluding retractables-- I do not know, as I have never used them).

Hmm, maybe there's some way to improve the front grip portion so it's easier to do infinities. The only other problem is that it might be a bit weighty. Other than that, it looks like a really nice mod, does not seem too hard to make. Good job on this.

Very nice, I was wondering what to do with my RSVP retractables.
Question: Do you have to change to the profile grip because it's the dickens to take off the G2 grip and i like the feel of them, plus, then the profiles just an extra pen to buy.

I'm glad you like it.
You should be able to use any grip that fits.
