How do you do it?

fung0wd0d41 - January 24, 2006 02:38 AM (GMT)
hhmmm interesting ive never heard of a triple charge before ???

i wanna see waht this is :)

:HMMM:

killsburydohboy - January 24, 2006 02:53 AM (GMT)
I think a double charge is a charge->pass->charge, so wouldn't a triple charge just be charge->pass->charge->pass->charge?

chanman123 - January 24, 2006 02:56 AM (GMT)
no actually kills

a double charge is twisted sonic pass to twisted sonic to pass and so on and so forth....

A triple charge might be done starting in 34???

Well iunno

tokuwee15 - January 24, 2006 03:24 AM (GMT)
twisted sonic = charge -> pass reverse

if charge is
charge 12...

and if double charge is
charge 23 -> pass reverse 23-12 -> charge 12...

then triple charge should be
charge 34 -> pass reverse 34-23 -> charge 23 -> pass reverse 23-12 -> charge 12

S-L Mafia - January 24, 2006 03:25 AM (GMT)
Triple Charge

Charge 34 --> Pass Reverse 34-23 --> Charge 23 --> Pass Reverse 23-12 --> Charge 12 --> Pass 12-23 --> Charge 23 --> Pass 23-34 --> Charge 34.

jasonsigar - January 24, 2006 04:52 AM (GMT)
Go to Pentix and look at the Triple/Double charge vids. I remember seeing a video there

kebaan - January 24, 2006 06:48 AM (GMT)
double charge is twisetd sonic 23-12 -> pass 12-23 (cont double charge is: sonic 23-12 -> pass 12-23 -> twisted sonic 23-12 -> pass 12-23 .....

ive got no idea about triple charge, does anyone know? :o

edit: are you sure about that S-L Mafia?

Interfector155 - January 24, 2006 07:27 AM (GMT)
I don't know exactly what it is, S-L Mafia may be 'technically' correct, but a triple charge should logically contain 3 charges, keeping consistency with the definition of the double charge. Therefore it seems logical that a triple charge would either be:

Charge 34 -> Pass Reverse 34-12 -> Charge 12 -> Pass 12-23 -> Charge 23 -> Pass 23-34

or

Charge 34 -> Pass Reverse 34-23 -> Charge 23 -> Pass Reverse 23-12 -> Charge 12 -> Pass 12-34.

This, however, reflects my own opinion and may not be the technically correct version of the triple charge, so pay no mind to me if I'm wrong :lol:.

Charge 34 --> Pass Reverse 34-23 --> Charge 23 --> Pass Reverse 23-12 --> Charge 12 --> Pass 12-23 --> Charge 23 --> Pass 23-34 --> Charge 34.

This is probably Quadruple Charge, since it contains 4 Charges, and spins 4 complete rounds during the combo.

Triple Charge could be Extended Twisted Sonic, followed by Pass 12-23-34.
But there ain't 3 Charges, though there are 3 spins.

wait so is a double charge a twisted sonic 23-12 and then twisted sonic 12-23 (would it be a pass or pass reverse in the second twisted soinic)? whats the difference between continuous double charge and a single one?

tokuwee15 - January 24, 2006 10:26 PM (GMT)
continuous double charge is -
twisted sonic 23-12 -> moonwalk twisted sonic 12-23 -> twisted sonic 23-12 -> moonwalk twisted sonic 12-23...and so on

a moonwalk twisted sonic would be-
charge 12 -> pass normal 12-23

a single double charge is -
twisted sonic 23-12 -> charge 12

Leviathan - January 25, 2006 06:55 PM (GMT)
So no one knows exactly what a triple charge is?

fratleym - January 25, 2006 07:54 PM (GMT)
I really think that triple charge is charge 34-> rev pass 34-23 -> charge 23-> rev pass 23-12 -> pass normal 12-23-34 and so on...
because I personnaly name a normal double charge a "double charge 123" and a double charge with the lower fingers: a "double charge 234"
IMO a triple charge is like this because I think that this is a kind of smooth move that can be done continuously. well I'm not sure but that's the way I see it

Triple Charge

Charge 34 --> Pass Reverse 34-23 --> Charge 23 --> Pass Reverse 23-12 --> Charge 12 --> Pass 12-23 --> Charge 23 --> Pass 23-34 --> Charge 34.

The second Charge 23 and Charge 34 should not be included. Then, it will have 3 Charge parts, so Triple Charge would make sense.

Charge 34 > Pass Rev 34-23 > Charge 23 > Pass Rev 23-12 > Charge 12 > Pass 12-23 > Pass 23-34

Leviathan - January 25, 2006 10:38 PM (GMT)
So is the first part a twisted sonic rise or a full charge, rev pass, full charge, rev pass?

Both :). It's the same thing.

Leviathan - January 26, 2006 04:01 AM (GMT)
Oh, I see now. After thinking about it some, a Twisted Sonic is a full Charge then a Rev. Pass.

S-L Mafia - January 26, 2006 06:21 PM (GMT)
It's not a full charge, it's more like 3/4 of one.

PSingvideogamer - December 1, 2007 07:16 PM (GMT)
I thought triple charge was twisted sonic rise then pass normal down back to 3-4.

Triple Charge is not official, so it doesn't really matter. You're better off just writing out the actual breakdown. Since Double Charge has one each of Twisted Sonic & Pass, it makes sense that Triple Charge would have 2 of each, which is what I previously posted.

These days, my previous breakdown would be:

Twisted Sonic 34-23 > Twisted Sonic 23-12 > Pass 12-23 > Pass 23-34
or
Charge Normal 0.5 34 ~> Pass Reverse 0.5 34-23 > Charge Normal 1.0 23 > Pass Reverse 0.5 23-12 ~> Charge 0.5 12 > Pass Normal 12-23 > Pass Normal 23-34

But yeah, just post what your are actually doing, rather than wondering if your derived combo is the same as what others think it is.

Tama - February 11, 2008 10:52 PM (GMT)
Sketching, have you ever tried doing it?? From what I heard from others it's the first breakdown you posted on your last post.

sketching - February 12, 2008 09:15 AM (GMT)
All three breakdowns in my above post are basically the same, just more or less specific. Yes, I've done Triple Charge before.
