el3ctricAmp - June 8, 2006 09:50 PM (GMT)
ok i got a dr grip pencil COG and its really good....i think better than the normal dr grip cuz its not as thick.
Well i put in some inserts makin it cool looking but i havea question...
do u take the metal cylinder thing out or leave it in?

Mine is left in, it probablt adds to the balance, and gives it some more weight.
Although I don't like it clacking around in there all the time.

took it off. It was perfectly balanced when i did that.

is the pen really worth trying? i mean im really hesitant shelling out lik 5bucks for one pen... especially since ive really gotten used to spinning the MX

I don't really like spinning with it, except my uncle gave it to me when he heard I started pen spinning, so it holds a special place in my heart.

dr grips are really nice to spin with, even though there a little short for me, its just they cost like $8, thats like 15 rsvps here. but other wise they are very nice.

is this a modifide pen??
if it I have never seen the moddifide pen
zepiroth76 - July 15, 2006 10:24 PM (GMT)
no, it's not modified. it's just a regular pencil basically that is really expensive...

really is this the best dr.grip to sspin with?
cuz I've seen other kinds like the shaker which has no clip and the g-spec that just look awesome.

Totally over rated. Can be spun with but I would say that even unmodded G2s are better. I leave the metal cylinder in because it's a shaker and it's meant to be there. I rarely spin with it unless I'm using it to write. Hmm, let's just put it this way... you don't buy this with the purpose of spinning but more of using it.
