This video was made in 2 days, it started with Fook and Patte wanting to show those youtube pen spinning newbies up with some great spinning. They asked me to join, and soon Michael joined in too.
Me and Fook picked the music of Dimmu Borgir - Puritania. We felt that this music would best suit our spinning styles, and it just plain kicks ass as a song.

Huge props to DKgamer for helping me out with the editing, he's the man folks.

comments/opinions:

The song should have been like a pimp by david banner.
If the song was like a pimp, then your combos would have to be way smooth, that way the "pimp" would appeal more to the video.
That looked more like a music video cut with pen spinning and weird pen holding positions.

Sorry if it sounds like I am flaming but I am trying not to, those are just some suggestions/comments that might improve the video. :rolleyes:

Cool vid tho, I like the live footage, but I don't like this song very much. It's not Dimmu's best song and it's not their usual style either.

But it's like their shortest song so.. yeah

Yeah that's actually what kinda made me think about using the song, it's nice and short, but it kinda fit too, so whatever.

The Dimmu Stuff Killed It, Well, Slaughtered It, Sorry, To Say But It Really Took The Focus Off Pen Spinning, And I Personally Would Never Use Dimmu As Music For Pen Spinning, It Just Doesnt Sound Right. That And I'm Not A Fan Of Black Metal.

I think you should have more spinning and less music video.
and sangkm made like 20+ ps promo vid scattered around youtube. if you expect youtube pen spinning noob to see it, this vid should be on the first page when you search "pen spinning" "cool pen tricks" "extreme" "cool" "amazing skillz" blah blah blah...
maybe we could reply the link to this collab in those kam-clone vid on the first page

Sorry, this collab didn't really go with me. I don't like the music and I feel it doesn't really suit PenSpinning. The non-ps clips made it worse because it's unrelated and it's wierd having those coming in halfway.

The spinning was good but the unrelated clips spoilt the overall impression of the collab. Nice backaround fall and aerial trick there. Hmm... maybe the name for each spinner should have been added too.

Conclusion: Spinning's good but not the "idea" behind the enhancing of the collab.

More spinning and less music videos. Thats all.

I mean, it was pretty good editing for what it was. I just don't believe it appealed to us, as pen spinners, because we would rather see more spinning.

Someone who isn't too into penspinning, or the "youtube n00bs" would think thats nothing short of amazing -- Which the combos are. Good combos to all, but the video as a whole did nothing for me.

Oh, and... Metal. I love metal. Period. ;)

You can't impress newbs with PS... I tried it at school. Well, at least to all the weird, ghetto and pretty kids. They'll only like it if they already like it. gg...

Unless there's someone who's open minded enough to accept that it's different possibly useful or fun enough to learn then that's a different story.

Good spinning all around, we should make some PS Promo vids like Sangkm has on Youtube. I like those. They're happy.

Awesome spinning... I just didn't see enough.

A point that I would like to make up there. This video was meant for people who are new to pen spinning or starting out pen spinning. We are too used too seeing pen spinning videos. That is probably why we ar'nt used to seeing a music video and pen spinning videos combined together. For newcomers however, they may accept this video as good because they are not used to seeing videos made by sangkm etc.

I am not a fan of death metal to be honest. But this song came down hard and I sort of liked the song.

For a second time editing a video, I must say TurbulentTurtle has improved alot on his editing. He just needs to switch the focus back to pen spinning. I had a problem with this too on the hall of honor part one. Overall, I would say I like the editing. If I did'nt count the focus in.

For the spinning done, I like combos in this video. The combo with TurbulentTurtle spinning a pen with white grips really impressed me alot. It was very nice to look at. As usual, Patte has his usual knack of getting an impressive cooldown. For Fook, nice backaround fall. But I must say that I am not as impressed as I have seen it way too many times before in some videos. There is clearly a trend in this trick. But it was exceuted very smoothly. Great job. For Michael, the crazy tornado speed spinner.

The only thing that I probably did not like this video was for the last combo where he had cut the scenes for the music video. And also probably the focus on this video. But we can always improve on that. And I would say that it is good since this is meant for newcomers to pen spinning.

P.S Sangkm did not make the videos on Youtube. The video collages I mean.

What's up with all the whining? I though all this music video stuff made it really good! I usaly don't like that kind of music, but the editing made me dig it, and it made the penspinning feel like a part of the music video (well, almost atleast). The combos was awesome as usual, you guys kick ass!

YEAH I really like it, the dimmu's song always own and I was afraid at first to see some video with the spinning but the song made it really cool.
Spinning is really nice too. And Michael fuckin own, I luv you man^^

It didn't look so bad to me. The spinning was good. And all spinners did a nice job. The music din't bother me so much, but I would rather see the parts between the spinning spinning.

Finally some people who appreciate the way I edited this video. Thank you.

Liked this collab a lot , it's one of my favourites now . i really loved the idea with mixing a music video and penspinning together.

Everyone did a great job , IMO

But i especially liked the second combo in the vid :D

The spinning is so great i think, we can see a grand level into thsi collab , my favorite spinner is Patte :o
