if they aren't too deep, you can usually polish them out with some toothpaste that has a bit of a gritty feel.

I believe you can buy a bottle of those scratch removers... I've seen ones for cars and cellphones' screens... but i hav no idea if they'll work on a rsvp tho.. I think u're better off buying a new hgg/ rsvp/ w/e pen u scratched.. those removers are pretty expensive as far as I know...

thanks guys..
i tried some clear nail polish on tip of my transparent comssa that is covered by the G2 barrel
it filled in some of the scratches pretty well, but it left a slightly bumpy layer on top and a faint smudge.
you can't tell its like this except if you look really closely or feel it. it just looks dirty.
ahh. i'll try to be more careful next time.

For RSVP body pens you want to use a lighter for sure. The plastic is very hard and if you just touch it with the side of the flame it shouldn't burn. It will get very hot before it will melt in any damageing way.
I just took sandpaper to an extra rsvp I had lying around and after melting it it's almost completly clear again. It's just very imporatant you use the side of the flame near the bottom where it is blue, the yellow part of the flame will burn it.

Just a suggestion, try it out on some scrap pieces of plastic before trying it out on your mod.
