Title: Any interestig combos.
Description: Cant seem to find any O_O

FinalFantasyFanatic - July 15, 2006 12:04 AM (GMT)
I cant seem to think of any good combos with the moves I know, I know alot but im so bad at linking them together, can anyone help me with some combos? The moves I know are listed in my sig and if its hard to read it, just tell me and ill post it instead.

Styx - July 15, 2006 01:09 AM (GMT)
Try working on Sonic rise. It's a combo that's easy to link and looks fairly good, when you DON'T use the thumbflap.
Then TA harmonic is always a nice feature.

Basing on all the moves you know, you should be able to throw some awesome combos with a little imagination. I mean I can throw a few combos and I barely know all the tricks you do :huh:

No shadows or backarounds? If not, really try to learn those, they are great in combos. Reverse sonics and reverse twisted sonics are good to know too. Heres a few combos you could try:

Sonic 34-23 --> Devils Sonic 23-12 --> Thumbaround --> Thumbaround Reverse --> Twisted sonic 23-12 --> Thumbaround 1.5 --> continuous halftaps (from 2 times to as many as you want) --> extended infinity --> 1st half of triple infinity --> pass 34-23 --> pass 23-12 --> infinity --> sonic rise --> Thumbaround

Index around --> pass rev 12-23 --> pass rev 23-34 --> sonic 34-23 (or twisted sonic 34-23) --> twisted sonic 23-12 --> pass rev 12-23 --> sonic 23-12 --> pass 12-23 --> sonic 23-12 --> pass 12-23 --> sonic 23-12 --> pass 12-t1 --> thumbaround reverse --> sonic 2x 34-12 --> Fingerpass (till its back between 12 again, one cycle) --> pass 12-23 --> twisted sonic 23-12 --> Thumbspin 1.5

Charge 34 --> Sonic 34-23 --> Charge 23 --> Sonic 23-12 --> Charge 12 (rising fans only with out the sonic clips) --> pass 12-23 --> pass 23-12 --> pass 12-23 --> devils sonic 23-12 --> Thumbaround Harmonic --> sonic rise --> pass 12-t1

RippDrive - July 15, 2006 03:35 AM (GMT)
I usually stick with little combos and freestyle. Some of the small combos that I like are;

cont. fake double
TA reverse(into 23) > Sonic 23-12 > TA
Devils Shadow 12-12 > index around
Shadow 12-23 > Sonic 1.5 23-12

FallenSeraph - July 15, 2006 03:48 AM (GMT)
try good ole k4lc
or play around with TA harmonic with breaks ie.
Rev TA ->Sonic -> TA
Rev TA -> Sonic -> rev sonic -> TA
Rev TA -> Sonic -> tw sonic -> TA
u get the point

and lately ive been playing around with tw sonic and neobak lik
Sonic 34-23 -> twsonic bust 23-12 -> Neobak 12-23 -> twsonic 23-12 -> sonic fall

try learning gunman -> fl rev ta. it has a unique look and easy to link

FinalFantasyFanatic - July 15, 2006 06:33 AM (GMT)

Half-tap > Half-tap > TA Reverse (land inbetween Pinky and Ring fingers) > Pass 34-23 > Twisted Sonic 23 > Pass 12-23 > Pass 23-34 > Sonic 34 > Sonic 23 > Thumbspin 0.5 (Index finger push) > Thumbspin 0.5 (Index finger push) > Fake Reverse (it's a Half-tap Reverse 1.0) > TA Reverse > TA Normal

TA Rev (land in 34) > Pass 34-23 > Pass 23-12 > Pass Reverse 12-23 > Pass Reverse 23-34 > Thumbspin 0.5 > Thumbspin 0.5

Edit: the Thumbspin 0.5s should all be Thumbspin 1.5, not sure where the 0.5 came from.

Leviathan - July 16, 2006 03:17 AM (GMT)
What's a thumbspin 0.5?

xz64 - July 16, 2006 03:21 AM (GMT)
a thumbspin .5 is a thumbspin with a very soft push and you have to reposition your thumb to make sure it is .5 rotations.

Leviathan - July 16, 2006 03:27 AM (GMT)

xz64 - July 16, 2006 05:17 PM (GMT)
Thats a sidespin .5

Look at this video (Thumbspin 1.0) : http://www.psconclave.com/wiki/Image:Thumbspin-by_xz64.avi and look closely at how I catch the pen. You have to put your thumb "under and over" the pen to catch.

FinalFantasyFanatic - July 16, 2006 09:13 PM (GMT)
These combos look pretty cool XD, I just need to master the the part where I catch the Reverse TA in 34 and the thumbspin .5s and make it flow better.

FinalFantasyFanatic - July 17, 2006 04:01 AM (GMT)
I have a very noob question -_-. Is pass like fingerpass but you only do it once?

The King - July 17, 2006 05:32 AM (GMT)
A series of passes make up a fingerpass. A pass is a single pass from one finger to another. A good and easy combo is Sonic Rise-Sonic Reverse 12-23-Sonic normal 23-12-Thumbaround.

Oh, Everytime I landed more then 0.5 I was like "Ugh!! Why cant I just land 0.5? I always gotta do normals or 1.5s -_-" XD Oh well, thanks for clarifying, now to practice some more.

The King - July 21, 2006 06:43 AM (GMT)
My friend was doing a pretty cool combo. It was something like ta reverse,3/4 charge12 then ta. Kinda hard to explain.

fitzgeraldhimself - July 22, 2006 05:23 AM (GMT)
twisted sonic bust > ta > fl rev ta > korean bak > fl rev ta > neobak 2.0 12-12 short and sweet

MBM - July 22, 2006 05:37 AM (GMT)
i ve got a little combo:
twisted sonic > ta > fl ta rev > backaround to fl ta rev continous

vicgotgame1 - July 24, 2006 12:50 AM (GMT)
Heres a weird one:

Sonic 23-12 > shadow(land under middle finger and above index and ring fingers) > index around(land in 12) > shadow( land in 23) then repeat. Hope that makes sence. :)

Translucent - December 21, 2006 09:39 PM (GMT)
Ta Reverse > Ta > Infinity > twisted sonic > Ta > Backaround

my friend is doing this combo non-stop..it looks very cool when done smoothly :rolleyes:

pser - December 23, 2006 03:33 AM (GMT)
I find it helpful to do a charge after a sonic to trsition to a TA or TS ie. (palm down)sonic 43-32>sonic 32-12>charge 12>tilt hand palm up>ta

:teach: :teach: :teach:
