I made a new retractable mod today.

Tell me how you like.
TutorialLength: 18.2 cm
Weight: 14 g a normal MX weighs about 12 g just to give you an idea how heavy it is.

I love the way it spins and it is very quiet.

PARTS:
[

1. The clicking part of the G2. Wrap small piece of tape around the long piece so that it want move making noise while you spin.
2. The piece in the back of the Hgg. It needs to be cut so that it is open on both ends. Also you might want to stretch it out so that the hole is bigger so that the ink tube can move smoothly through it.
3. This is the back part of the G2 and should be cut so that is about 6 cm.
4. This is a ink tube from a RSVP.
5. This is the Hgg. The back part that extends past the barrel should be cut off and the then you should cut the front part where the grip was so that the whole piece is about 10.7 cm
6. Hgg Grip.
7. Tip of G2.
8. Spring from a retractable RSVP. You should be able to use any spring that you can find.

ASSEMBLY:
1. Insert #2 into #5 then glue #7 to them.


2. Insert a tooth pick that is about 1.5 cm into the end of the ink tube and wrap some tape around the other end thick enough to stop the spring.

3. Stick the ink tube in #5 and insert number # 1 into #3. Now slide #3 onto #5.


4. Now all you have to do is put a RSVP cap on and it should click into place.

So is that retractable part a Anyball or G2?

Hmm... this reminds me of the Hybrid HGG² mod. It looks as if it uses a HGG, a G2 for the back part and a RSVP cap. However, I'm not too sure about the front portion but I think a G2 is involved. However, the HGG part in the middle seems a little short so I might be wrong.

yeah, because if you have to take the cap off then you might as well just use a rsvp mx because once you take the cap off you can write.

might give it a try though because it looks awesome.

How I want this mod, for writting ans spinning at school, but I haven't RSVP body, I made my personal mod with HGG body.
I dont know how is the CPC's mod, but I think the retractable system is different.

I have found a way to make it so that you don't have to take the top off.
But it use parts from a different pen. So I will be putting up the tutorial for the Hgg Type R later and when I get time I will put up the up the tutorial for the Hgg Type R V2 for those who like to keep there caps on.

The Hgg Type R is what this thread is about. The V2 is another pen similiar to this one but you can click it without taking the cap off.

how about just cutting the back part of the rsvp cap and puttin a G-2 clicker in there? kinda like for the RSVG2?

I thougt about that but I came up with something else.
The Hgg Type R V2 is coming soon for all those that like to keep there caps on.

I can't get a back part of G2. Because I can't hardest part I have to do with this part. Get some stupid part from the a back part of G2.

How can I get it off??

I use scissors that are made to cut plastic and I cut pieces of the black plastic off then pull hard.

Try to attach G3 Cap.

I made a second version of the pens where you don't have to remove the cap. But I personally like this one better.

hmm i like this mod but i have used the whole back part from G2 but it works fine
and i like to spin it
my mod are a little bit shorter 18 cm

very nice mod. unfortunately, not feasable for cheap american scum, like myself, who don't have access to HGGs.
