Title: ComPirat mod
Eriror - January 13, 2006 08:52 PM (GMT)
Hm, I dunno if it was a real success, but I'll show this mod again. It's made of:
• A SuperPirat body & caps
• 2 ComSSA caps.
I named it the ComPirat mod, because SuperPirat ComSSA Mod is.. Kinda long, eh?
Stats:Lengths•
SuperPirat: 17 cm long.
•
ComPirat Mod: 23 cm long.
Other• Twin-Capped
• Round
• Medium to a bit heavy weight [with grips on ComSSA caps] At least heavier than an RSVP MX
• Different colours [red/green/blue/blue-gray]
• The SuperPirat caps are blue and white. You can let them be like that, or use 2 white caps, or 2 blue. You may need to glue the caps to the body, but the ComSSA caps can be removed at any time.
• A saddening note: The colour fades after spinning very much. It will be white after that. This could be a plus too, though. *wink*
How to make:Step 1:Grab a SuperPirat, of your own preferred colour. [Colour of tutorial is blue]
Step 2:Glue the SuperPirat caps, and put the ComSSA caps on it.

And well, you're done! Maybe remove/add a few grips to your own leisure, to change the weight. I hope you like it!

Hey Eriror how long does it take to spin off the printing on the pen ? I spin my SuperPirat since 2 Weeks and theres not much printing left :)
Eriror - July 6, 2006 03:17 PM (GMT)
2/3 weeks, sometimes 1 month. It depends on the pen, haha. Strange, though. I once spun it off in 5 days, and with another ComPirat it took 1 month.
EDIT: Wow, that was a while since the last post.

neXus - July 19, 2006 11:36 AM (GMT)
I take the caps to the gathering and you build me one. We can buy SuperPirats and SuperSheriffs in Neuss.

Are metal tips on ComPirats necessary?I've seen many ppl posting their Compirats, and they include metal tips. Are they part of the mod or an add-on,like the Com-ssa Metallic?
H-J - July 28, 2006 02:11 PM (GMT)
you decide if you want or not.
but I think compirat is long and compirat with metal tips should be very long...
Ivan the Terrible - July 28, 2006 03:47 PM (GMT)
I don't like the compirat with metal tips even though I used it once. It's basicly too add momentum, rather stack on a million grips. Or try learning stuff with it normally like only half anyball grip.
Eriror - July 30, 2006 03:56 PM (GMT)
It's for the momentum, and weight. Don't use it if you don't like it. I prefer the looks, myself.
Em.Darktembler - July 31, 2006 03:34 AM (GMT)
you can decide it but using metal tips are much better to spin because its heavy
hilario - November 3, 2007 09:29 PM (GMT)
i put those little metal things inside that hold rubbers on the top of pencils, which doesnt make it any longer and still adds probably more momentum than another grip
