Title: Advanced tack-on game

TurbulentTurtle - January 7, 2006 02:21 PM (GMT)
I believe there was a game in progress in the old UCPSB. Here are the rules:
QUOTE ("Lordbojo on UPSB")

Ok, here we go, PS Tack On Game!

WTH: This game is a game that makes everyone more flexible in performing other combos that were created by other people. First, I start with 1 trick and post a vid of it. I post the breakdown of my 1 trick, and the next person in line has to make a vid with that trick+1 trick of their choice. Then, it keeps going until there is no more submitters after 3 days. After those 3 days, the last person that submitted a legit video, is crowned the winner and he/she starts the next round!

Rules:

1. Video must be performed by you and the tricks in the combo must be distinguishable.

2. After 3 days, on the last day after midnight, the winner may submit his/her starting trick.

3. Anyone may submit a video.

4. NO OFF THE TOP TRICKS, THEY ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO RECREATE!!!

5. I am the judge of all the videos to see if they are legit or not.

6. You better have fun.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

Go to the last page of this link and continue the game:

Well I didn't think a sonic 2.0 was a difficult trick for a tackon advanced game. I'll void the previous game.

Yeah, I edited the post before seeing the real time between mine and the one before. But then, I thought none would correct such an unimportant error...
I should apologize for my mistake, they are not seconds but minutes. Please, forgive me.

I don't exactly see what you've done with your "counter neobak 12-12" after the neobak, do you make a scissor spin or not?

patte - February 1, 2006 01:46 PM (GMT)
i do a half neoback12-12 and then i like reverse the motion of the neoback so it returns to the startin position of a norm neoback 12-12

thats a counter neoback

sketching - February 1, 2006 02:18 PM (GMT)
I always thought that Counter moves only use hand motion to reverse the movement half-way through a trick. Zombo's UPSB thread on the subject is kinda confusing though.
In the video, you paused, then used a second push to reverse the motion, which would technically make it a second, separate trick.

Counters can be paused can't they?
No matter how fast you do a counter SCIENTIFICALLY it has a pause in between. ( even 0.00000000001 sec counts).
So..

Which is why I wonder if a signicant pause would count or not. I always picture a Counter move having a very smooth reversal of direction using only hand-movement, not second push.

I don't have much experience with Counter moves though, so I can't say for sure.
