Sorry for listing so many things, but this actually works. (but you might get no audio
You need:
Quicktime AlternativeAviSynthVirtualDubMod1.Extract virtualdubmod to its own folder.
2. run auxsetup.exe and install the avifile handler.
3. go to the directory with the mov from your digicam and copy and paste this into notepad
(replace movie with the file name)
4. Save this as movie.avs (make sure it is in the same directory as the movie)
5. open movie.avs in virtualdubmod.
6. Go to video>fast recompress in virtualdubmod
7. Go to video>compression and chose a compressor.
8. Go to streams>streams list
9. If there is something there, that means the audio has been loaded.
10. Click ok
11.Go to File>Save AVI
12. Select file name and destination and save.
If the avs wont open you might need to get
ffdshowAck, I almost forgot the much easier way, just get
Rad Video Tools and read
this tutorial.
