theres something lik this on google videos, where a russian guy does lik a 5min run through the city and scales some pretty big buildings. its pretty hot

Cyril - September 9, 2006 05:18 PM (GMT)
Yeah, Divinsk or something like that is their group called.

Voltaire - September 9, 2006 06:12 PM (GMT)
^^

I was wondering when somebody would post something like this. I'm part of a 5 man team that does this for a living. Well, we do more street tricking than parkour, but hey, we get paid for it nonetheless. XD Our site is down at the moment for revamping, but as soon as it's back up, I'll post the url. ^^

Yeah, and the russian guys are called Dvinsk Clan. Amazing stuff, it's almost the same as what our team does.

Cyril - September 9, 2006 10:42 PM (GMT)
this is actually realy cool Voltaire !!
Could I get your email adress plz ?

Zombo - September 9, 2006 10:47 PM (GMT)

spinofdoom - September 10, 2006 05:20 AM (GMT)
Yeah nice videos.But it's dangerous.

Voltaire - September 10, 2006 06:44 AM (GMT)
Holy crap, that just reminded me. Our team has our videos on Youtube. X3 Here's mine. ^^

http://youtube.com/watch?v=bwEC13K9KeI

Just do a search for Team Defy, and you'll find all our videos. And no, I don't flip with any chains or spikes or piercings. I fall too much, and I'd rather not become a human pincusion because of it. ^^

Cyril - September 10, 2006 08:31 PM (GMT)
@ vicgotgame1 & Voltaire, nice stuff !

It is dangerous, yes, but it get alot less dangerous when you know what your body is capable of and don't do stupid things..

willow2x - September 28, 2006 02:58 PM (GMT)
i wouldent count parkour as a manipulation its much more of an extrememe sport.

i have a friend (Danny Illabaca- DmI) he's been in various shows and was on topgear and done a few commercials.

you should definatly do a google search for him

Prepere to be imprsed

Michael - September 28, 2006 03:40 PM (GMT)
hmm i do parkour, any tips on the flips?(like how to begin and stuff)

sicxer_ - September 28, 2006 03:45 PM (GMT)
Flips is not parkour, its tricking. You can go to trickstutorial.com, and find tutorials on youtube, and ask Ivan for more links. And parkour is best described as a discipline, like martial arts, rather than a sport.

vicgotgame1 - September 28, 2006 10:39 PM (GMT)
No, doing flips while parkouring is not tricking, its freerunning. and freerunning is totally different than tricking. and for the flips, practice with a friend and start on a trampoline if ur goin for the backflips.

zak the 2nd - September 29, 2006 01:30 AM (GMT)

Michael - September 29, 2006 04:34 PM (GMT)

Shit, you know Danny?! o.o He's our team's idol. XD Him and Joe Eigo. Frickin' Eigo... He completely ingores the law of gravity. I'm not joking, look him up on Youtube. He doesn't jump. He frickin' floats.

sQ/Exu - September 29, 2006 06:44 PM (GMT)

Voltaire - October 1, 2006 12:18 AM (GMT)
Well, people who practice parkour are normally known as Traceurs, but I don't really like that name personally. I dunno why, it just sounds weird.

zak the 2nd - October 1, 2006 01:56 AM (GMT)

Lately Ive been getting interested in parkouring, any tips? Like how to start off? How you did? I'm trying to learn a backflip, but I'm still scared chicken to fully flip back. hehe. I'll work on that.

Voltaire - October 29, 2006 07:06 AM (GMT)
Ooh, the backflip is the most fun, though! My advice is to start off of a ledge, preferably shoulder-height. This way you can focus more on the jump than the spin. It's a hell of a lot harder to do a backflip on flat ground, than it is to do it from height.

Still, the best place to learn it first is on a trampoline, I retract my statement about trying it from shoulder height... >.> Don't want you to get killed, now.

My favorite height to backflip from is about 6-7 feet. ^^ It feels like you're floating from that height, it's wonderful. ^^ If the SoCal gathering comes through, I'll teach you how.

kasra12321 - November 2, 2006 12:33 AM (GMT)
wow. omg. omg. just omg. awsome. its cool how you just climb up that wall thats like 3 times taller than you. awsome. you rule

:king:

UnEmploymentDude - November 2, 2006 03:24 AM (GMT)
Yeah that is so cool!

I wonder why criminals don't learn parkour. I mean, it'll be easier for them to run from the cops and all.

Voltaire - November 2, 2006 06:15 AM (GMT)
There was a group not too long ago that did that, and got it on tape several times. However, they forgot to blur their faces, and the cops caught them.

Phya - November 20, 2006 03:41 AM (GMT)
Blah... I'm interested if anyone has topped this yet:

I haven't seen a better one yet.

Petahpie - November 20, 2006 04:35 AM (GMT)
kind of random but in the new james bond movie there is a GREAT parkour scene with sebastian foucon (the founder of freerunning). He actually does parkour not freerunning (and pwns bond in the chase scene)

tohxinzhan29 - November 20, 2006 04:55 AM (GMT)
Oh man..................

Crap, whats next? Extreme digits in a Jame Bond movie?!

EDIT: oh yeah, Cyril and Belle totally kick ass!

Trogz - November 20, 2006 05:40 AM (GMT)
I do parkour in america. I'm sort of a beginner though.

@UED for beginners, start out with basic vaults over bike racks and stuff and learn how to jump gaps and how to roll

masterskittle - November 20, 2006 02:37 PM (GMT)
I've seen this before, It looks very cool.

Team Ryouko

Very dangerous though.
