Alright, sincethe voting is really close, and NOT changing acronym takes the least effort, let's change the meaning of UCPSB to "UCPSB: the Collective Pen Spinning Board".

It really takes little effort to change that... I've checked all the stickies on this board, except stickies about videos, and none of them even mention Uber Cool.

In fact I would be surprised if a newcomer would even know what the acronym stands for.

So from now on, consider this board as the "UCPSB: the Collective Pen Spinning Board". What will probably need to change are outside references to this board, I'm thinking of wikipedia, ps wiki, youtube, etc... which write the entire name.

But for the board itself, no changes are needed.

This is only a temporary solution however, we'll see how well it goes. In a few months I'm gonna poll again so see if the public opinion has changed.

So it would help if people could notice me of places which still references to Uber Cool PSB and modify them if possible (like for instance in wikis), or just tell me by PM.

I don't get it. 27 people vote to change the acronym, 23 people vote to keep it, so you keep it? If you change it, you're satisfying a slight majority.

cuz if i made a poll with all the available choices, im sure the 27 will be divede into several choices, while the 23 all vote UCPSB

theres no need to rush thing, all I'm doing is officially getting rid of the Uber Cool (cuz its easy to do). Then later we'll talk what to do.

Umm, there's another thread to discuss what the acronym should stand for. Please post related queries there. This thread was just to inform the board of the decision. Anyway, several people agreed on the recursive acronym.

jeez how hard is it to comprehend that U stands for UCPSB, its the link that make the name infinitively long, nothing wrong with that.

yea theres nothing wrong with the recursive acronym. its really quirky but thats wat makes it cool. plus adding unified or united jus kinda makes the name redundant.

Hey everybody, I've been gone for a week or two because my internets been broken, but anyways I'm back now. I like the new board name, and whats even more important is we don't have to change any logos or banners or shit like that because the acronoym is the same. :clap:

Go "Ultimate" Like its the Ultimate Collectiv PS Board. Peopel from all nations around the world united. No other board offers this. That makes UCPSB ultimate.

Next Point.

Allright, we want to be a penspinning board giving informations about PenSpinning. So if you come to this website the right places to learn should just pop up into your face. Saying :

Introductions leaves "The Sandbox" and takes place in "UCPSBv2". Noone needs the testing zone in the beginning. Most people know how to use a board.

The remaining part of "The Sandbox" goes down under "Media Center". PS related things have to be reachable at first (we are a PS Board, right ? Ya!). So noone needs that spammers bin shit if you want to learn ps.

Then the wanted "Hand Care" subforum can be put in "Pen Spinning" under the battle zone or above the battle zone.
