this is my new Bic pen mod...it's different (I made it up but it's basically same as BICtory so i named it:
BICtory 2020 SHX (Super hybrid Xero(Xero because it have perfect balance))


Pens:
2 Bic-round stick Grip fine (Pen)
1 Pilot-2020 super grip (Mechanical pencil)

Tools:
Nail Cutter
Sissors
Transparent duck tape (It can be just a transparent tape, but Transparent duck tape looks better)
Ruler
Optional: Piece of paper




Advantage:
Fairly easy to make (not greatly easy)
Bic-round stick Grip fine can be bought easily
Bit heavier and thicker than BICtory V1 so easier to spin
Great balance
Balance adjustable

Disadvantage:
Pilot-2020 super grip is hard to find in USA (Easy in Japan)-and it's about two bucks
It doesn't use so much pieces of Pilot-2020 super grip and may feel like a waste (While giving great advantage to the pen)
Still to light for proffesional spinners.



Tricks not recommended for this pen:
-Thumbspin (Because it's hard to find the position on light pens...it flies off.)
-Shadow (same reason with Thumbspin.)
-Devils


IT looks long to make this but it only takes ten minutes if you do it right the first time.




Prepareing:
Take off all parts of 2 Bic-round stick Grip fine. (Dont be sarcastic...dont take off ink tube. just take off grip, cap, and pentip.)
Take off all parts of Pilot-2020 super grip. Take off the grip. To take off the thing on the back of the pen (I'm NOT talking about the eraser cap.):
Use a sissor to scratch the hole a little (There should be a hole on the main tube of the pen)(Dont scratch too hard) then pull the thing HARD!!!. after it comes off, take out the spring.




How to make it:


Part one, Bic-round stick Grip fine:
1) Use the nail cutter to cut off each of the thing that is sticking out of the "Bic-round stick Grip fine" cap. WARNING: Dont throw away that stick.


2) Bend both of the sticks in half. it should be "V" shaped. put each of the "V"s into each of the caps all the way in. (The point of the V goes in first.)

3) Use ONE of the main tube from Bic-round stick Grip fine and cut each sides off until they are 7cm in length.


4) Cut both of the ink tubes so that they are sticking out about 2.5cm



Part two, Connection:
1) put the "Pilot-2020 super grip" spring onto one of the ink tubes. Insert the ink tubes into the Main tube of the Bic-round stick Grip fine.


2) close the other side of the main tube with another inktube


3) Cut the grip of the Pilot-2020 super grip in half, and put each of them on each of the Bic-round stick Grip fine cap.

4) Put those caps on each side of the modded pen.

5) Wrap transparent duck tape between the two circles once.
NOTE: Better to use the tape side ways. it would look clean.


Optional part three, decorations:
1) Create your own pattern or word design by hand or computer. (Dimensions: 4.5X1.2cm)

2) Take off one of the caps, take off the ink tube by pulling the pen tip. (The swirly grip would not come off together.)

3) Cut the design out from the paper and wrap it until it's like a 4.5cm tube.

4) Put the wrapped paper into the Bic-round stick Grip fine main tube until it cannot go any more.

5) Close it back together.

NOTE: This can be done as many times as you want so you can always change your picture design.



Final Product:




Adjusting Balance:
Use the grip of the Pilot-2020 super grip to adjust balance.


NOTE: The pilot-2020 super grip would still work by putting the thing on the back in place and put the pen tip back in place...only thing that you cant shake it and you dont have grip.

Sorry to say but another version of the bic came out before this one did so it can't be V2 :dunno:

Sweet. Haha I thought the springs wouldnt weigh much, because for my white BICtory mod i added parts from an antenna, and it didn't do much ( So i wasn't so sure about springs).
