The Naming Committee has compiled a list of shortened trick names to help UCPSB members quickly and easily read/write tricks and breakdowns. This list has been created (and will be updated as needed) as a formal convention for writing tricks in a shortened form.

Tricks:
TA = Thumbaround
IA = Indexaround
MA - Middlearound
RA = Ringaround
PA = Pinkyaround
PSA - Passaround
Bak = Backaround
Neobak = NeoBackaround
TS = Thumbspin
IS - Indexspin
MS - Middlespin
RS - Ringspin
PS - Pinkyspin
SS - Scissor Spin
Lev = Levitator
Inf = Infinity
FP = Fingerpass

Modifiers/Others:
Rev = Reverse
Inv = Inverse
Ext = Extended
FL = Fingerless
Cont = Continuous
Tw = Twisted
PSing = pen spinning

Combo shortened names:
K4LC = Kam's 4 Loop Combo
K3LC = Kam's 3 loop combo

Pens:
HGG = Hybrid gel grip

Yeah. As a Naming Committee released article, it ought to have some kind of standard. The capitals are necessary, please edit this if someone would. Also, the title of the thread seems wrong. The shortened names are not just for tricks, but also for combos and pens.

SpiderSpin is not a very common trick, therefore, it has no abbreviation. Not all trick will have an abbreviation, only the more common ones.

Just a thing...you have two "PS" shortened name...

Beware ^^ ( though I'm sure nobody will never call something a "Pen Spin PinkySpin :rolleyes: )

lets face it though. no oone would say ''ps'' for palmspin. it is just too confusing. we all just say palmspin. you guys should shorten LONG names, and IMO palmspin aint long.
