RSVP DGX

Materials Needed:
2 Pentel RSVP's (really 1 whole RSVP, and one RSVP grip)
1 Uniball Signo

Procedure:
1) Reverse the ink as usual and break the clip on the cap, and push it all the way down (i like it this way, but you can do it like an MX as a variant)
2) take one of the grips and put the signo tip inside it so the end is sticking out of one side.
3) push the grip/tip assembly over the tip of the RSVP until the grip with the tip in it is partially on the grip on the body, and holding the tip on

and we're done! finished product and balance:



variations: different tips, putting the cap further back and putting a grip in the cap. don't pass these off as new mods please.

hey i wouldn't want you to say nice mod if you didn't really mean it. i know the grip is pretty ugly... but the balance is right in the middle... like in the pic. it's in the middle if you cap it like an mx as well

how is it really just 2 grips if you use the whole body of an rsvp?

bah a perfect balance is not that important, kam says it's better if its tipped towards the back, it gives you more "space" in front for tricks like TA.

i mean it's not 2 whole rsvps. sorry for not making that clear

Yeah, there isnt much space to do much, I admit, the HGG grip on the MX is annoying some times.

you can make the mod longer if you wish. just put the cap further back like on an mx and put another grip in the cap.

actualy the second grip stays on quite nicely. it only looks like it's not supported because the signo bulges a little. i have to try hard to pull mines off. it doesn't wiggle or anything.

I mean like where the tip end and before the tip of the RSVP starts can't you like squeeze that part cause nothing would be inbetween it I never doubted that it didn't stay on... And I didn't say it wasn't a new mod.

isnt this mod kinda like a V2 rsvp or w/e (the 1 that kam has on his site) well.. -.- i donno if u can really call it a "NEW" mod tho.. im sure ppl have thought of this idea before, if your looking for perfect balence, can't u just use a heavier tip? my MX is acctually almost perfectly ballenced with the exception of like <4mm i used a Signo tip, and with the grip on the back pushed up ALL the way.

you could argue that for almost any mod though. i've received great results from this pen... just thought i'd share but w/e

I would say that it depends upon your style and such on where you would like the COP. I for example, do a lot of spin tricks and around harmonics, so like a pen with a COP in the centre. Others, may like pens with the COP to one side or the other.

And the mod, I don't particularly like the look, although, I wouldn't say it's ugly.

They mean its short because of the picture, with the cap shoved in that far, its as long as a v2, SHORT!

i made this mod primarily for those who do not have access to HGGs.

finally someone noticed, it can be as long as MX, just cap it like such and it will be a lot longer. i personally like my pens shorter which is why i did that (i don't like to have this giant thing waving around when i spin in school... so i've just adapted to it)
