OK. So far as a newb I am sort of new, therefore, sort of in ignorance. But I think this is unheard of to the pen world thus far. I think this pen is going to be hated because it uses some skillz but it is so cool. It defeats it's own purpose but whatever. What you need is an HGG tip. An RSVP. A G2. Determination (aka Superglue :lol: )

BTW: I know it's not a true Bictory. The name is for namesake only. B)


The steps!:



Take the Bic ink tube in hand. Walk to the trash can and throw it away.




Take the G2. Get the spring out. Cut off the bunch part of one end and about 3- 3 & 1 half a coil.




Put the spring in the Hgg tip. For reference put it on the end of the bic tip, but without the bic inktube. (You already threw it away. :lol: )




It should rest on withh very little grrrness. Take the RSVP ink tube and put it through the Bic tip. Hopefully you didn't superglue the HGG tip.




Here's what you should have. A Bic tip with a RSVP ink tube and an HGG tip with a spring inside. Here comes some ingenuity.




The spring's gotta be pretty short because what you do is have the RSVP ink tube in far enough so that it is just behind the end of the HGG tip. Keep it at that length and rap something very thin around the ink barrel so that it doesnt just go past the spring. Make sure it is perfect before supergluing.




Ok. This is what inspiration was born from. First, of course, take off the back part of the Bic barrel. I use scissors but do whatever it takes. Now, take the back end of the G2 and cut it however long you want the pen to be. If I haven't gone completely insane it should perfectly wedge around the Bic barrel.




If extra length is needed which is definate, dig into the trash can and take out the Bic inktube. Attach it however works.




Now, enjoy this wacky, cranky mod that CLICKS! It is possible but takes such ingenuity that I will bow to your feet to stick the Bic caps on both ends. But filing will have to be done beyond recognition, making it look kind of, well, bad.




If there are any comments, complaints, or congrats, please comment. Sorry about no pic but I just made this and am still working out some kinks. For instance, to make the length different, you can also cut the Bic barrell. Anyways, tell me what you think.




If you wnat pics, make one yourself and post them because my digital camera doesn't work. But it works really well and it looks sort of odd ball but is something to try out.




To a sence of request, here are the measurements. It's about the same weight as a full normal G2 It's length is totally modifyable by cutting the back G2 and Bic barrel. BTW, by using a Bic round stic Grip you can stick an insert inside the bic barrel and have a matching barrel for the back G2. I personally use the full tip of a Bic round stic Grip as well because otherwise it's kind of funky writing it. Overall, ask about anything and and plz post any pics of it.

do u need an hgg tip specifically, or does any tip work...?

I personally, Mr. like 3rd to only WHITE dude in UCPSB/ American do not have HGGs, so I use this other sort of tip from Glimmer Gels gel pens. Really, this mod is still in the making so basically if anything else works, lemme know. :dunno:

Any specs? (weight, length, etc.) and could you please post a pic of the final product?

Maybe my post was to vague but in this the G2 goes around the Bic barrell. I wedge it on, but if you think it's better by all means superglue it.

I said somewhere else but the G2 goes around the Bic, perfectly.

the IDEA is not perfected, but thats why this is posted, for input and suggestions. maybe someone can make it themselves.

i havent made the mod or anything, but from experiance, if u dont superglue both the tip and teh back g2 barrel onto the pen, it will pop off. very few connections will stay after extended pressure from the spring. trust me ive failed in many of my retractable attempts.

Yea as what Fallen has said, you broke one of the main laws for retractable mods, which is having a part which may pop out after a while due to spring pressure. Without that problem being tackled, the mod will not be too viable for usage.

OK, don' hate. You can easlily just super glue it on the back G2 part and the HGG tip. just make sure the spring is the right length and the Rsvp ink tube won't just go through the spring. That's the only little kink still. :grin:

yeah I know, I was just letting everyone know you can just Superglue it. Then the only problem is is that it's sort of hard to change the inserts. :banghead:
