First you start out with:
2 RSVP's
and one G2 refill
Cut both rsvp tubes at the end of R.S.V.P.
Then take about a one inch section of the g2 refill and insert it half an inch into one of the rsvp tubes
then after that attach the other tube onto the rest of the g2 refill and you have a RSVP Vortex
Plz post on how well it works for you and in you liked it

you may have to glue the refill inside the RSVP tubes. :spin:

heres a common way to do it without glues
--> use comssa ink tubes (washed) and stick the in the rsvp body.
fits PERFECTLY
The ComSsa ink tubes are crap anyways.
and you can use comssa caps and stick them in the ends of the rsvp
This way you don't have to use another pen.
(actually, nvm nobody uses g2 ink tubes for moding other than this)
I never tried G2 ink tubes yet.

Anyways....lets get started! 1.For your RSVPs, take the grip off and file down the little bump until it is level with the normal grip pen part. WARNING: next step is the most feared step of all. I will advise you to be EXTRA careful with this step or it can result in an injury. PLEASE don't hurt yourself. 2.Take both RSVPs and using a saw or knife, cut it right after the RSVP Pentel R.S.V.Pl bk91 usa MED. Cut where i put the line after the "P" 3.Get your comssa caps and make it so that there is only 1/4 a dong-a anyball grip is on the cap around the middle. You then put around half the rsvp grip inside the cap. When you holy the comssa cap in a light and see that the grip has hit the little “drop down” part, then its good. This part can be hard and frustrating. Slide the cap with the grip onto the RSVP body part where u got the grip. If it is too hard, file down the little bump on the rsvp tube more. Once you got the grip in its original place with the cap ontop, i have measured the grip that is showing to be about 1.4cm or .6 inches. Do the cap and grip thing for both sides 4. Get the G2 inktube and cut about 2.25cm from it. Dont cut a part with ink for obvious reasons. Take the cut piece and put half of it in 1 end of an RSVP. Get an RSVP inktube and put it in one side(doesnt matter which) Then take the other RSVP piece and put it on the other end of the g2 inktube. Fits like a puzzle! if the g2 inktube shifts or does something u dont want it to and it goes too deep, get any kind of grip, put it around the inktube and u can pull it out and try again. Well I think thats about it for the Vortex! Careful if you choose to make this mod but a wise saying that Mwahaha91 said to me, "No pain, No gain." ps.I dont like the RSVP inktube. It is much much easier to spin without it but thats just me ^_^ |
