well, its the holidays for me and i had nothing to do, so i decided to post mods that i have done...

here is the Monami1000MVortex there is 2 forms. you will see it later.

i made this as i had those monami 1000M lying on the room not used.. and i got a signo dx from a friend who had just finish using it.. well basically almost everything there are spare parts.

materials:
2 Monami BPP 1000M (cheap) (with clips taken off)
1signo dx ink tube (yes.. the one with ink!!! make sure it is empty)
1signo dx grip (cut in half)
1pilot mechanical pencil (the 2020 lookalike non shaker.. 2020 should work also)
tapes
*optional* signo tips (if you want the heavy version)

step1: cut the signo dx ink tube (3cm or more) and tape a little so that it is thick enough to fit tightly into the body of the BPP 1000M (looking for alternatives... help needed if possible) fit the tube into two of the 1000m body. you may want to tape the body together.. but it is not required...

now here is form1... you can use the caps of the 1000m and fit on both sides...
length:22.3cm
lightweight
has momentum

*optional steps* continue to make form2. the one with signo tip...

step2:put the signo tip on the end.. it should fit well.. tape below the area where the signo tip could not reach.. this widen the diameter of the body to the diameter of the signo tip.. then taping will make the tip stay there better...

step3:tape the signo tip so that it does not move and drop out...

it should look like this after that...

finally... add in the grips and you are done!
length:19.8cm
great momentum

the excess cap can be placed on a bictory...spins well too...

yeah not bad. How's the feel of the barrel? For some reason, I find bic barrels very, very slippery. How about this one?

ultimatsz - November 25, 2006 11:47 AM (GMT)
eh this is not so slippery...
eh you can try soft feel bic.. they are not as slippery...

haha you cant write with this... but it is possible... just make a hole at the end of the body and fit a ink tube in if possible...
