I remember "The Amateur Magicians Handbook" by Henry Hay has a number of cigarette moves, as well as other sleight-of-hand moves, such as coins, cards, etc. A great book to have if your brother is into this subject.
If you live in US, I think it won't be hard to find this book in public libraries as well. It's a good classic with lots of good info.

HELL YEAH! Cyril kicks ass with his magic stuff! But it'd be kinda hard for us to do these tricks since we're mostly underage.

I saw this video by Cyril Takayama some time ago and i got the idea could pen spinning possibly learn something from this? after all a pen is a similar shape to a cigarette

Its pretty obvious that Cyril was actually taped to the ceiling, and the cigarette was lying on the back of his hand every time it disappeared.
