Extended Comssa

OK, so this is my first mod, the extended comssa. I've always liked the balance and symmetry of comssas, but they have been too short and light for me. So I came up with this mod.

Pros:
long (22.5 cm)
somewhat heavy
grips for infinities
balanced
symmetrical

Cons:
too long for some
5 pens to make it

Materials Needed:
2 Dong-a Comssa Computer Sign Pens
2 Sharpie ultra fine point permanent markers
2 halves of a grip of almost any kind (I use a signo grip because I like the feel of it)
Tape (optional)
Something to stick in one of the comssa caps to make it balanced (optional)

Step 1: Break the clips off of the sharpie caps and file down the bumps that remain.

Step 2: Double cap one of the comssas. You can stick a grip, eraser, wad of paper, etc in the back cap to make it perfectly balanced. You also might want to put a small piece of tape on the back end of the comssa so the cap stays on good when you're spinning.

Step 3: Put the sharpie caps on over the comssa caps. They should fit on perfectly.

Step 4: Put whatever grips you have on over the sharpie caps, and you're done!

Yeah, same here. Are there any easy ways to get some?

Kaze - December 13, 2006 02:46 AM (GMT)
The only ways that I know so far is either trading with other spinners, or www.jetpens.com

lol, out of stock. <_<

Yeah, I got my comssas through jetpens, but if you can find someone to trade with, it would lower the cost quite a bit.

Edit: WTF same post time

The pen seems sorta flimsy and looks like it has no momentum.

Actually, its very sturdy, even sturdier than most pen mods, and the sharpie caps and grips give it quite a bit of momentum, much more than a normal comssa.

i saw it in school, he was copying my combo in spanish class, its pretty tight! :thumb:
ehhhh... kinda long though

*edit* notice holes in desk from dropping ammx lol

other than jetpens, which are out of stock

and trading, which at least my parents dont allow

either get a koren friend (my friends dad is in korea, got comssas and is coming back thurs!!!)

or whenever your in like koreaworld markets or something look in giftshops and stationary stores. they might not look the same, as some have fruits, or cartoon characters...

Why fix something that isn't broken?

Maniok - December 13, 2006 03:01 PM (GMT)

Well, me, and probably many others, think that normal comssas are too short and light. Something doesn't have to be broken for me to try and improve on it. There are people that prefer light, short pens, and there are those that prefer ones that are heavier and longer. Its just a matter of preference.

TBH : Ugly.

LittleRaisin - December 14, 2006 11:19 PM (GMT)
or you could just not kick all the comssa in the balls and use a compirat

Trogz - December 15, 2006 12:29 AM (GMT)
well its hard to get superpirat unless you trade, but you can get comssa on jetpens. this is an alternative

zepiroth76 - December 15, 2006 12:51 AM (GMT)
a very ugly alternative -.-

LittleRaisin - December 15, 2006 12:58 AM (GMT)
I concur..
and it is very easy to get super pirat/sherrif if you just look most people will trade 1:1..

Eh, I really like mods that have metal tip. I ALWAYS wanted metal tip G3. It would make my SGG3 REX so much cooler.

Anyway, quadruple capped com-ssa...KOOL!

The sharpie caps have a little bump on the end, somewhat like a comssa cap. You could probably find a way to get metal tips on.

Trogz - December 15, 2006 09:05 PM (GMT)
cool! i just made one and it rocks!

@darkangelREX i found that flexgrip elite tips fit (the fat round ones)

and the sharpie caps actually do fit PERFECTLY
