Title: Backaround Fall
strat1227 - December 27, 2006 08:09 PM (GMT)
BackAround Fall isnt on the PS conclave..... i was wondering if anyone wanted to volunteer to create it. I would but im not familiar with wikis enough, and im not familiar with the trick enough either. So if anyone good gets bored, they can do that for me :)

im not familiar with it either, but heres how u do bakfall
1. hold in bakaround position
b. do a backaround
3. when the pen is spinning on ur knuckle, move or tilt ur hand so the pen moves down the knuckles.
d. catch it by lifting ur pinky and letting the pen "slide" into the slot.
hmm not sure, is this the neobakfall or bakfall forgot.
anyways there almost thte same u can figure it out heehehe
tips-----------
use more force on the start. push the pen harder than a normal bakaround---->that way

Thats a neobak 12-34
A bakaround fall:
backaround t12-12 -> fl pass 12-23 -> middle bak -> fl pass 23-34 -> ring around -> FL pass -> Pinkybak
I know I did the numberings wrong but you get the idea.

First, there needs to be an agreement on what a
Backaround Fall is:
Backaround 12-T1-23 > Backaround 23-T1-34 > Backaround 34-T1
orBackaround 12-T1-23 > Backaround 23-T1-34 > Backaround 34-T1-4 > Handaround 4-T1
orBackaround 12-T1-12 > Pass 12-23 > Backaround 23-T1-23 > Pass 23-34 > Backaround 34-T1-34
orBackaround 12-T1-23 > Middlebackaround (Fingerless Middlearound Reverse) 23-12-34 > Ringbackaround (Fingerless Ringaround Reverse) 34-34
orBackaround 12-T1-23 > Middlebckaround (Fingerless Middlearound Reverse) 23-12-34 > Ringbackaround (Fingerless Ringaround Reverse) 34-34 > Pinkybackaround (Fingerless Pinkaround Reverse) 34-34
orIndexbackaround (Fingerless Indexaround Reverse) 12-12 > Pass 12-23 > Middlebackaround (Fingerless Middlearound Reverse) 23-23 > Pass 23-34 > Ringbackaround (Fingerless Ringaround Reverse) 34-34
orIndexbackaround (Fingerless Indexaround Reverse) 12-12 > Pass 12-23 > Middlebackaround (Fingerless Middlearound Reverse) 23-23 > Pass 23-34 > Ringbackaround (Fingerless Ringaround Reverse) 34-34 > Pinkybackaround (Fingerless Pinkyaround Reverse) 34-34
There are probably a few other combinations that someone can think up that can also be an example of
a Backaround Fall combo.

Allow me to clarify then :)
I need a tutorial and/or more info on what Eriror does in
this vid
sketching - December 28, 2006 12:02 AM (GMT)
Eriror does this:
Indexbackaround (Fingerless Indexaround Reverse) 12-12 > Pass 12-23 > Middlebackaround (Fingerless Middlearound Reverse) 23-23 > Pass 23-34 > Ringbackaround (Fingerless Ringaround Reverse) 34-34 > Pinkybackaround (Fingerless Pinkyaround Reverse) 34-34
strat1227 - December 28, 2006 12:04 AM (GMT)
muchas gracias :)
edit: wait :WTF: how in the world do you do a fingerless reverse PINKY around??
Nighteye90 - December 28, 2006 12:26 AM (GMT)
hold it in between 34 and make it go around the pinky? I can somewhat do pinky baks but thats the only way I know how to explain it
Edit: Heres a drawing of what I think Pinky Bak or FL Pinkyaround is

That is backaround fall. Don't try and change it.

If you think logically, a Sonic Fall is comprised solely of Sonics, so a BackAround Fall logically should be comprised solely of BackArounds. I would therefore be inclined to say 'Backaround 12-T1-23 > Backaround 23-T1-34 > Backaround 34-T1
' = BackAround Fall.
I'm not getting into an argument over this though, just use breakdowns of the whole combo to avoid confusion.

herei found this sometime ago.. and spent sometime finding it again. well check this for help?
Eburt - December 28, 2006 04:42 PM (GMT)
Logically Mats, it seems to me that a BakFall should be completely Baks, but they shouldn't all go back to T1... I think it should be:
Bak 12-t1-23 > Bak 23-12-34 > Bak 34-23-34 > PinkyBak 34
But what Sketching posted is the generally accepted so we should just use that...
Interfector155 - December 28, 2006 07:34 PM (GMT)
Technically speaking, using the original definition of the Backaround provided by David Weis himself, I think it would be correct to go back to T1 for every Backaround. I myself, however, prefer the breakdown Eburt posted. Therefore, from a purely technical standpoint, Backaround 12-T1-23 > Backaround 23-T1-34 > Backaround 34-T1 (maybe ending with the handaround, like sketching posted earlier) would be the "official" bak fall.
Unfortunately no matter which breakdown is regarded as official, a very large number of spinners will likely be unhappy with the decision so, like others have suggested, we should probably have no official definition and just use the breakdown.

Don't reposition your fingers. As you wanted to do the Ringbackaround, you have put your index and your middlfinger over the pen. They have to stay under the pen.

k thx ^.^ i just noticed that i fix the pen with my thumb b4 ea. backaround instinctively thinking i'm about to drop it. I'll try not doing that
zepiroth76 - January 3, 2007 09:03 PM (GMT)
I always thought that backaround fall was 3 continuous backarounds doing backaround, middlebak, then ringbak.
