RandomNewb - January 3, 2007 12:52 AM (GMT)
CPC just got raped by Eriror.

What's a Korean pass?

zblader - January 3, 2007 01:00 AM (GMT)
Eriror's spinning is impressive. Impressive Spinning. lawlz. he got the variety, smoothness, good linkage... his video caught my eye.

No, really, what's a Korean Pass?

kohai - January 3, 2007 01:03 AM (GMT)
voted eriror... his was just better... took me like 30 minutes trying the breakdown.... no success of course <_<

 zblader didn't use "XD"

FallenSeraph - January 3, 2007 01:13 AM (GMT)
lol eriror. i actually liked your combo for the aesthetic appeal this time, not jus for difficulty. good job man =P

cpc. you have a very unique style. all you tricks are done very condensed and close together. pity i dont lik the look >_< lol sry nothing against you

spin~TAP - January 3, 2007 01:44 AM (GMT)
Damn, CPC, voting wise you are getting pawned, you looked like you had harder tricks, but Eriror was much smoother.

Toast - January 3, 2007 01:45 AM (GMT)
sorry cpc, eriror

i normally really like your spinning, but there are just some people you cant beat...lol

CPC - January 3, 2007 01:57 AM (GMT)
Yes,
I got one vote :vhappy: .
Thanks Heyimon.
Nice spinning Eriror definately better than mine.

Whats a korean pass?

From what I see, it's most probably the half-around/neosonic/passaround trick that we haven't decided on yet.

Surge - January 3, 2007 05:44 AM (GMT)
Eriror, it was way smoother. A work of art.

LegendOfFireHands - January 3, 2007 06:43 AM (GMT)
Null voted. I liked both a lot, and for different reasons. They felt like they were on different ends of a style spectrum, and I couldn't decide which I liked better. Eriror was smoother, but CPC's had a uniqueness to it.

xHamor - January 3, 2007 11:00 AM (GMT)
Voted for Eirirawr. Cpc was good to, keep training.

kriasi - January 3, 2007 11:32 AM (GMT)
Voted CPC - liked his combo better overall.

Eso - January 3, 2007 12:37 PM (GMT)
Korean Pass is diagonal, I think.

Zombo - January 3, 2007 02:30 PM (GMT)
eriror hands down.

glad to see you hand got better

It's not, I used an older video I made a few weeks ago for backup, as I always do.

Notes about battle later.

EDIT:

Alright. I have to say CPC did a good job in this video, even though he could probably improve more and more as time goes on. Of course, I voted for you. The only thing I don't like about your style is the amount of normal Sonic variations that are in it, but the robotic movements and other tricks in it make it look really fancy. Keep on spinning. ^_^

My video... Could be better, but I estimated CPC's spinning a bit low compared to like.. Donk3y. A few weeks old. Nothing new, though. Mouquette has done the Sonic Clip Reverse 12-14-34 before, and a lot of people the Cont FingerLess ThumbAround Reverse x2. I know the cam shook a lot, but that was because my parents walked alongside the table. The Korean pass is a diagonal pass before the BackAround/FingerLess IndexAround Reverse that is used... By Koreans. A good example is Cloud Traveller. It's the easiest to do after ThumbAround Reverse, as the pen is at the tip of the fingers. Afterwards, you do a Pass Normal, but tilt your hand a bit palm-down, so it flows in a diagonal way. It takes a while to practise, but handy for a Korean style [where's the flame shield?]. :)

Overall, a very nice battle, and I hope we may both improve a lot.

-EK

I was just joking around when I said that. But I was glad to get some votes cause after watching Eriror's vid I felt that it was better than mine.

Oh and
Thanks for all for the comments
I need to practice more.

RandomNewb - January 3, 2007 06:12 PM (GMT)
When you figure out what the Korean pass is I want to see a video... Is it just letting the pen spin a bit more extended after Rev. TA or what?

let me introduce you to something called sarcasm <_<

tokuwee15 - January 4, 2007 10:09 PM (GMT)
!!!

Please do NOT use the term 'Korean Pass.' 'Korean' should not be a modifier for any trick.

!!!

haha...no really. Please don't.

FallenSeraph - January 4, 2007 10:15 PM (GMT)
yea you shoudl definitely keep the trick to pass. try not to name tricks that are the same but use a different tilt of the hand.

and eriror. even if you dont think the combo was good, i think this was one of our better ones

....
nothing much to say
but my opinion:
but modifiers help specifing tricks
for example korean bak is totally different from weissian bak
if we did not have these modifiers, ...much would be different
nothing against your opinions fallen and tokuwee

and i guess it the person who breaks it down's choice..

I thought your combo was awesome, eriror

tokuwee15 - January 5, 2007 03:11 AM (GMT)
There's nothing wrong with having modifiers for those tricks, but 'Korean' is not an appropriate modifier for tricks because it is a racial term...and some people don't like..racial terms used for modifiers. yaaahhhhhhhhh......

yup, 'korean backaround' is also..a 'problem trick.'
it would be better to call it a fingerless indexaround reverse.

Eriror - January 5, 2007 08:17 AM (GMT)
I'll change it to Diagonal Pass.. Is that better? >_>

Mats - January 12, 2007 01:42 AM (GMT)
eriror 28 - 8 cpc

Eriror wins!

Eriror as usual.

I'm actually confused about this whole back thing. Why is a backaround that goes near the nail called fl ia rev? Why does it matter if it goes on the top of finger or bottom?
