Title: Extended Thumbaround Variation?
Dark Angel-REX - January 30, 2007 12:21 PM (GMT)
So here's the route:
1) starts in TA position except in indexfinger push mode.
2) Push the pen like in TA normal
3) Let it spin around the thumb, then 0.5 spin on index finger. (palm almost down) THUMB AND INDEX FINGERS ARE TOUCHING.
4) Let the pen fall between Index and middle finger. (Like in most finish position after combos)
So what is this called? the whole trick is 2.0 spin.
THIS TRICK GOES AROUND THUMB AND INDEX FINGER. hoever, it makes 0.5 spin on indexfinger...
Thumbaround T1-12 2.0?
Thumbindexaround 2.0?
Thumbspin T1-12 2.0?
Indexspin T1-12 2.0????
What is it called?

This trick??It is Fake Double 1.5
I see Korean use this trick
:dunno: however I'm unsure with this answer

No cuz thumb and indexfinger touches most of the time. the pen does NOT go in between index and thumb after the pen goes around the thumb.
I'll try taking vid. hold on

Look at a vid in my old post <_<
Yes or no ?? I think the pen does not go in between index and thumb after the pen goes around the thumb.

ThumbIndexSpin 2.0 T1-12
or
ThumbAround T1-1 1.0 > IndexSpin 0.5 > IndexAround 0.5 1-12
:hah:
pser - January 30, 2007 09:31 PM (GMT)
but that looks like extended thumbaround but with spin?
ps what is that pen in the thaispinner vid?

Extended thumbaround is TA T1-t1 -> Pass (or half an indexaround) T1-12, what Sketching said is like that just that he adds an indexspin to it which makes it, like you said, an extended thumbaround with a spin in it

In Extended TA, the pen goes between the Thumb and Index fingers, before going over the Index. DA-Rex said that the pen does not go between the Thumb and Index in his trick.
It seems more like an Extended ThumbIndexAround, if anything. Extended only meaning: adding 1/2 a rotation. :P
I do something similar, but I do a 1.5 Thumbspin before having the pen go over the Index finger. Instead of a 0.5 spin on the Index, the pen spins on the Thumb. It's a ThumbIndexAround with an extra 0.5 spin on the Thumb. I guess I would also call that ThumbIndexSpin 2.0, if anything at all, since there is no hybrid naming system.

Is the reason this isn't a faked double the fact that it spins on top of the index, and in the video I didn't see it spin on top of the index at all. And this doesn't deserve a thread you can just post things like this in the "What am I doing?" thread.

it is fake double
many people call it ext ta
I do not want anyone to argue back, but here is another reason why i think there should be two names.
pser - February 3, 2007 11:15 PM (GMT)
this isnt a ext TA though since it spins on the inde not around
ShoeMan - February 4, 2007 01:03 AM (GMT)
I was as helpful as it gets
I'm not at all sure why this garbage isn't in the The "What am I Doing?" Thread anyway
Dark Angel-REX - February 4, 2007 03:04 AM (GMT)
I wasn't really sure what that thread is for. I thought it was like almost same thing as pen spinning journal
