pser - February 4, 2007 03:28 AM (GMT)
anyone know a good retractable mod that has minimum cutting involved? i would leik one that looks stick-like like a repeg, or something along those lines

The comssa retr. could work, cuz i tink the only cutting with an x-acto is the shaving out the barrel of the comssa and cutting the bic barrel. but u might not be able to find the comssa where you live... but heres the link
Comssa retr.

He said something like REPEG.
I think he want's single sided pen.
Besides, Com-Ssa are hard to find out side of Korea unless u trade.
If he live in USA...
pser, i'll go find pens for u. hold on
EDIT: Sorry pser, all Retractable mods on that list require alot of cutting. I check EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.
Sorry for not being able to help u.

The Monami 153 retractable doesn't require any cutting IIRC...

ya 153 would be the way to go but i find it kinda hrd to enlarge the front part without cracking it and i like it and you dont need to cut stuff but i might be harder to get 153's i had to steal one from a restraurant

hmm...tried it, kinda unbalanced though hehe, well not unbalanced but the weight isnt distributed well. when i said minimum cutting i meant like i could cut a g2 barrel or something thin, but i cant cut like a rsvp cap cuz its too thick(really want the retractable mod by godofdeath) , maybe you guys can tell me how to cut plastic efficiently(theresa thread i know cuz i looked)
firepong - February 4, 2007 07:03 PM (GMT)
Well, if you have it, you can use a fine tip hacksaw to cut plastic. And when you get done with that, just use like a fine file or sandpaper to smooth the edges on the part you cut. While I dont do it that way since my gpa doesnt like me in his shop when hes not in there, it is the best.

thats the problem i cant get a saw. i have kitchen knive though how do you use that?
nike t - February 5, 2007 12:27 AM (GMT)
you could try heating it up, might work better.
pser - February 5, 2007 12:57 AM (GMT)
heating it up? you mean the knife or the pen?
P0T4T0 - February 5, 2007 01:11 AM (GMT)
I think Nike t means heating up the knife cuz if u think about it, if you heat up the pen, the pen would melt... but my question is, how do you heat up the pen?
YourClone - February 5, 2007 01:43 AM (GMT)
Boil some water and pour it over the pen.
nike t - February 5, 2007 02:11 AM (GMT)
Not really, you would probably burn your hand, boil water put it in a cup and then put the pen in the water. You could try also microwaving it or using something to hold the pen over a heated stove
EDIT: And yea I meant heating up the knife

This post was a while back but...
I use a serrating [sp?] knife...a bread knife in other words.
It's the closest thing in your [my] kitchen to a hacksaw because of the teeth on the knife
It takes a while, but gets the job done
