I was wondering if there was anywhere in the U.S. that sells or ships the Pilot G-3, besides jetpens.com... I was also wondering if there was any replacement pen for the G-3 (one that sells from the U.S.)

Depends on the mod. Its its the HG3r, then and RSVP will do.

Actually UED, you never know until you shop around and look in random pen stores in Chinatown or wherever. I never knew that G3s were being sold in a store where I live, but lo and behold.
It's unlikely that they're sold where you live, but you could always check and hope.

We don't have RSVPs in France, but we have all G3s and all HGGs (and more like super pirat, lakubo etc)

so, G3s are expensive (3$ ; 2,30 € )

for your question, the G3's cap is not very different as RSVP's one. but for the body ... I don't think there is an other remplacement pen ...

and in France, the G3s are availables in 4 colours : red, black, green and blue.

so trade with us :lol: we are the best :P

i'll have to disagree with scouto. sorry buddy.

G3 caps are VERY different from RSVP caps.

G3 caps:
lighter
have a bump around the opening
are roomy enough to fit a grip in it without scrunching it.
have a wierd clip thing that is much much easier to file off.
it also bends a little away from the clip (you have to have a cap to know what i'm talking about)

RSVP:
tend to deform quickly, making them fall off much more.
the top half is VERY thick, adding a lot of weight and scrunching any grips put into it.
difficult to completely remove clip. (there's a lot of plastic to grind off.)

anyways, RSVP caps and G3 caps are not completely replaceable. they have similar thicknesses though, being able to fit on most pens.

This might be stupid opinion but I think those Sharpies caps has some same shape...seriously...but I'm afraid I don't have Sharpies atm so I couldn't compare it right now.
Someone try it.
