Title: Shadow > Sonic Clip Hybrids?
_en_ - February 20, 2007 06:46 PM (GMT)
Has anyone tried it, it seems possible.
I haven't seen anything about it as far as I've searched.
But I've found I can clip a Shadow while doing the catch motion for a charge 13.
Edit: I did find one mention, in the German pen spinning community.

is that like doing a sonic clip 23-12, then when its charging 1-3 you do a shadow? I've actually seen some stuff like this before... i'll send you a link when i find one

What I was doing was Shadow but instead of catching it normally I would catch it between 1 and 3, then do 1 charge rotation before dropping it into the 12 slot.

so shadow 12 1.0 > charge 1-3 > catch 12?

More like Shadow 12 1.25 it does half of the catch rotation before being clipped. I quickly drop 2 and bring 3 in for the clip.
so Shadow 12 1.25 -> Charge 13 -> Catch 12/23 {your choice}

okay, i have the idea. and i'll get back to you with some more ideas later.

Yea there are two variation possible with Shadow Clip. DOing charge before spinning on top of ur finger, or doing charge after spinning on top of ur finger.
I don't know, but i never heard of it

It's not really new, but cause it's sorta awkward and charge 13 palmdown doesn't look good nobody uses it.
And I wouldn't call it Shadow Clip, Just use Shadow 12-13 -> Charge 13 -> ...
Or do you mean Shadow 13-__?

shadow clip isn't really a trick it is just a combo between sonic clip > shadow 13 if i understand correctly
or just shadow 12 > charge 13
doesn't needa new name

Depending on how you do it, it may be a combo or a hybrid. But I'll agree that it doesn't need its own name.
