er, i looked around, but i couldn't find anything that would help me get the ink off of a black bic barrel
is there a good way to get rid of it?

Use a steel file to file off the ink. It shouldn't be noticable.

You cant, if the barrel is black, then the barrel is 100% black.

l0stf1r3 - February 22, 2007 03:01 AM (GMT)
i mean like the barrel's black but the ink's white

If I'm interpreting your question correctly, here is the answer: Take it out with pliers.

i think this is really confusing but
like its a black barrel of a bic
like i'm making a fake comssa bictory, but i can't figure out how to get the white ink off of the black barrel
i think that should clarify things

Can you post a picture?

crazymonkeyz - February 22, 2007 04:25 AM (GMT)
how do u have white ink???? :dunno:

did the ink spill onto the barrel or is it the ink tube in the barrel???? :dunno:

UnEmploymentDude - February 22, 2007 04:56 AM (GMT)
Ohh my mistake, use use rubbing alcohol and scrub it off.

If all else fails, use acetone. Careful, it'll eat at the barrel.

The Saint - February 22, 2007 09:36 AM (GMT)
hmmm.... acetone. one of my favourites!

maybe try with an eraser like on the rsvp barrels..?

Ivan the Terrible - February 22, 2007 10:05 AM (GMT)
He means the writings on the barrel how tzo get them off.

Hmm if the writings are on the "top" of the barrel then try one of the methods the people above me stated. But if it's sorta "engraved" into the barrel then There isn't any solution but melting them  or filing them away and ruining the pen.

l0stf1r3 - February 23, 2007 02:27 AM (GMT)
ok, so i used rubbing alcohol then used a metal scrubber and it came off
now it actually looks somewhat likea comssa
i'll post a pic when my cam decides to work
