Title: Bictory Type-r
Description: retractable

spin~TAP - February 22, 2007 08:08 PM (GMT)
Hey, if any of ya'll remember I had said that I had created a Bictory Retractable like two weeks ago and was posting a tutorial. Well, I had a lot of school work and couldn't get the time then. Well, thanks to being sick here it is...

Bictory Type-R

Pens needed:
2 Bic Round Sticks
1 Bic clicker pen
1 RSVP
Profile or Anyball
2 Signos

Parts Needed:
2 Bic round stic caps
1 Barrel, spring and clicker of the Bic clicker pen
1 RSVP ink tube
Grips of the Profile or Anyballs
2 Signo tips (Or can be any other tip that allows a RSVP inktube to go through)

Tools Needed:
1 ScrewDriver
1 Knife
1 File
Tape
Nail Clippers

Length: 21.5 cm.
COB = COG
Weight: Bictory Type-R=Metallic Coms-sa

Pros:-Retractable
-Fairly simple to make
-Customizable
-Doesn't have appearance of make-shift retractable
-Spins just like normal Bictory
-All parts available in U.S.A

Cons:-It is still necessary to remove one cap to click the pen
-It has to be metallic
-Uses the bic clcik pen barrels which often have weird logos

The Tutorial!
Step 1) Using the nail clippers, remover the clips off of both Bic caps.

Step 2) Using the screwdriver, punch through the top support of one Bic cap. It should be fairly easy. Then remove all of the little remainders.

Step 3) Take the clicker part out of the Bic Clicker pen and break off the clip. File down until it is in line with the rest of the clicker section.

Step 4) Line up the tip of the RSVP ink tube to the tip of the Bic click pen ink tube. Wrap tape around the RSVP inktube at the same spot as where the Bic click pen has the bulge to hold back the spring.

Step 5) After having finished filing the clicker part of the bic click pen, put it back into the Bic Click Pen.

Step 6) Place tip over both caps, remember which one has a hole in it. Put assorted grips of your choice to hold tips in place.
user posted image

Step 7) Place the spring on the RSVP ink tube with the tape around it and place the ink tube into the cap with the hole on the front.

Step 8) Place the cap with the springed ink tube into the bic click pen body. (Opposite side of the clicker part, make sure you removed the original tip of the bic click pen.) The cap does not need to go on very far. Putting it in too far will stop it from clicking.

Step 9) Put the cap on the other side (with the clicker) when done writing and enjoy spinning the custom, beautiful, Bictory TR!!!

NOTE: All credit for idea goes to Dr1v37h38u5 for his idea of using the Bic click pen. Link to Comssa Retr. Mod tutorial.

A Couple of Helpers:
-You must remove the back cap to get to the clicker to click the pen to write. You do not remove the cap of the pen from the side which the ink tube comes out of the tip.

-The mod may need some adjusting based on how you made it but the RSVP ink tube should be perfect.

-Just keep tinkering to get it to work.

 And most of all ENJOY!

Looks a little funky and cool at the same time.

Eburt - February 22, 2007 09:26 PM (GMT)
Looks pretty neat. Does it hold up well after a bit of use? Also I changed the title for you.

spin~TAP - February 22, 2007 09:29 PM (GMT)
Thanks for changing the title. Anyways, sorry for the red barrel. It's the only bic click pen I have.

I've had it for two weeks and it holds up great. It spins the same as a normal metallic bictory.

i think the red barrel looks uber sweet <_<

lol i found the old one, and i finished the new one =D

so anyways, yes the bic caps fit really snug on the bic clickr barrell. It is pretty sturdy =]

spin~TAP - February 23, 2007 04:46 AM (GMT)
The bic caps stay on as well as a bictory's. I like this because it looks like a normal bictory but you can show off it's beastly click-ability. Also, RSVP ink is just very good quality.

BTW, effort wise, I came up with the idea to make the pen in two minutes and built it in 5. It was so easy it's not even funny.

MuChO_LoCo - February 23, 2007 07:37 AM (GMT)
oo nice, funky grips though
is it still perfectly balanced?

could u make ver. w/o tips? like have a tip on the inside of a cap. im not a big metallic bictory fan ^.^ ty in advance

btw you might want to put the rsvp ink and spring in the pens needed, at first i was like o.O how the fuck do u make it

spin~TAP - February 23, 2007 01:42 PM (GMT)
Fixed. Sorry. Forgot about the ink tube. I was sick. w/e lol here it is fixed now.

yes, it is still perfectly balanced.

Dark Angel-REX - February 24, 2007 03:45 AM (GMT)

PenMod-Erator - February 28, 2007 11:22 PM (GMT)
it is a sweet mod.

u should make another out of kavondak's signature bictory. it would be cooler.

n00bp3nsp1nn3r - February 28, 2007 11:51 PM (GMT)

:banghead:

SeYoon - March 1, 2007 12:08 AM (GMT)
what girps are used in kavondak's signature bictory?

MuChO_LoCo - March 1, 2007 12:12 AM (GMT)
i think 1/2 of a red signo grip then 2 whole black rsvp grips or the other way around and another 1/2 of a black signo grip on the end? i dunno

Dr1v37h38u5 - March 1, 2007 02:59 AM (GMT)
NOTE:

bic clic barrels are WIDER than regular bic barrels.

dont make the mistake of trying to shove the clicker into the regular bic barrel.

n00bp3nsp1nn3r - March 1, 2007 10:16 PM (GMT)
lmao. i was just about to try that until you said it.
thanks..

No. That's almost totally wrong. Lol.

And yeah, it sorta says clearly in the tutorial, bolded, to use the bic click body, lol. Lots of replies lately, I hadn't noticed, glad you guys liked it.

Step 3) Take the clicker part out of the Bic Clicker pen and break off the clip. File down until it is in line with the rest of the clicker section.

What should I use to get it even, I've been trying a nail file for half an hour and it's not working so well.

EDIT:
How will the BIC stic cap even fit over this when it's done? Even with the small part of the clip off, it looks like it will still be slightly too big,
