Currently, the trading post is growing steadily and I have a solution that can cut the space needed to hold all that data. Instead of constantly posting updated trade data so it can be bumped, how about creating an extra page in each member's Profile that contains this information. After that is created, the massive trade thread can just have one post with links to all people that want to trade. People who want to have their link posted just have to contact a mod to update that list. Simple as that.

I like the idea with the extra info in the person's profile. You can also have a link in your sig that links to your trading place, but that would be a problem for people that don't post much.

And also you can put what country they're from or organize them so if you need a pen from a certain country you don't have to go through the whole list

I don't know how to do that... but I think the current thread is just fine because you're not supposed to sift through all the pages. Look only at the most recent pages because that's where the active people are. If we make a list of people, we'd have to monitor it constantly to be sure someone is still trading.

The best way is for everyone actively trading to write it in their sig. Maybe not the complete list, but just a remainder to pm for details.

anyways yea i think its adequite to just keep it in your sig. Plus then it gets rid of the active problem, cuz normally you only see posts of people who are active.

Nah, thats only good for, like you said, active people. And the people I've done most of my trading with dont even post!! I found them through the pen trading thread.

Yes. If we have the info in our profiles, it would be harder to check, and if we just had one major thread, it would be very hard to see what everyone is trading, and the scams may grow. But that's a maybe.
