night_3 - February 28, 2007 05:16 AM (GMT)
what's that trick's name called?
'fake normal'?
thx for telling me
Nighteye90 - February 28, 2007 06:04 AM (GMT)
I think thats just a halftap or fulltap, since fake reverse is fulltap reverse.
Bobr - February 28, 2007 06:28 AM (GMT)
Fake reverse 0.5 = Half tap reverse
Fake reverse 1.0 = Full tap reverse

U wrong, fare rev is fake rev, it don't tie with TA, fake rev just look like TA rev because the have the same push, but technically Fake reverse is just tap reverse, maybe Kam or David Weis call it Fake reverse because it look like TA rev.
neXus - February 28, 2007 01:38 PM (GMT)
Fake means its not real.
TA Rev. was called Reverse in early days (maybe) so they spin the same even the push is the same. Fake Reverse.
Fake Reverse Reverse = Fake Forward = Fulltap

well let's not go into naming of these tricks, the naming committee still has to clear these up a bit
Fake Reverse 0.5 - HalfTap
Fake Reverse 1.0 - FullTap
Fake Reverse 1.5... - HalfTap 1.5...
Most people use that kind of naming for these.

I think that half tap have only 0.5 rotation, full tap only 1.0, and if tap has more than 1.0 rotation (1.5+) it's Multiple Tap (Tap 1.5, Tap 2.0) but not Multiple HalfTap, as Ivan said. Half = 0.5 so half tap 2.0 is strange

yes it does sound a bit strange but when you say halftap you don't think about the spins but about how to do the trcik or what does the trick look like well atleast thats how i always thought about it
probably you are right about it but i find it easier to just say halftap 1.5 because i've never seen anyone say just tap or tap 1.5
let's not go too deeply into naming cause the NC still has to clear these out a bit

but the middle finger push is with the other side of the finger, not like the rev tap. its like builtt up pressure sort of like the sonic.
ShoeMan - March 1, 2007 07:13 PM (GMT)
as I see it it doesn't matter how you push its the direction and place of the spin.. so the Korean flicking method equals the index push.. I dont think scissor spin relates here in any way shape or form,, since it starts at 12
