It's one month already since
Eburt has been promoted, so it is time for him to pass the public evaluation.
Please no flaming, post comments / feedback if you wish so.
Remember that while the results of the poll are of great importance, the rest of the moderating staff have the final say on the decision.

I'm going to be brutally honest here...I voted for the 2nd option. Why? Because I know Eburt's trying to be a good mod despite his shortcomings.
I just didn't like the way he handled himself, especially at the beginning of his inception as betamod. I'll give you one example here:

If Zombo had said that, I wouldn't mind at all; but coming from a betamod candidate on his first day I find the above patronising and OTT. You have to learn to be nicer before you've earned some cred (Ivan is a shining example) before I can accept you as my moderator. Sure you've got the power and you play by the rules, but you will be nothing without respect...my advice to you would be to build up the latter.
Anyways, all I can say is, look up to Zombo and Ivan for examples on how to be a good moderator. I wish you all the best.

No, Kensai has a valid oppinion, which is completely ok. I just don't see how Icould do much modderating if I had to spend all my time making sure everyone liked me first... thats not the job of a mod IMO.

Eburt did a good job in closing my "Longest Lived Thread" I told people to let it die but they wouldn't so he locked it. :banana: :clap:

The for % is weaker than Ivan (86 vs 74), but I think it's good enough to let Eburt through. So congratulations on become a full mod.
