I think it's called ThumbAround Middle Finger Variation (which is different than ThumbAround Normal).

That is actually a good way to do a TA if you want to do a fast harmonic TA...

What the heck, wouldnt it just be called a thumbaround? its just Weisen styled-ish. The push is still with the middle though. Right?

So basically, you do a TA normal, but catch with only the middle finger, the index just stays out of the way?
This is a pretty common (maybe the most common) variation on ThumbAround.

Unless he means that you ONLY hold it with your middle finger and thumb (Like i thought...and picked up my pencil and managed to do the trick before this thread loaded :P) but for the catch i just used the normal writing position style.
Weird looking trick though, just keep your index finger out of the way :P

this trick actually can be linked differently.
A koreanstyle faked reverse works well, or a wiper t2 cardoid.

The pen never touches your index finger(hence indexless). I catch it with 2/3. Or catch it with fleshy section between your thumb and index, but don't like the index touch it

Good job, now push the ThumbAround Reverse with the middle finger, and you'll be flashy indeed. ;)
