In order to minimize risk, we're only sending an insert (With a lot of extra width to roll the paper with, which gives us extra space) across the world for everybody to sign the back of the paper. You don't need to allocate space on the insert graphics for signatures, since we're signing the back of the paper! (Reverse side of the paper)

So far we have people like kam, tohlz, nhk_9 etc... agreeing to signing it.

What we need now is a high-quality RSVP MX insert.

-It must be 300dpi
-The theme must "universality of Pen Spinning"
-No funky color scheme (keep it formal)
-COP may or may not be marked.
-No logo unless you have every logo on it.
-Make the graphic 2x the height visible when rolled.

What're the normal MX insert sizes again?

I think they're in the GPMT...

RSVP MX insert info
1. width: 9cm
2. height: 3.81cm
3. COP is located 4cm from the "back" side (where the RSVP cap will be located).
4. only 1/2 of the insert (vertically) will be visible when the insert is rolled up.
5. only 1/4 of the insert will be visible at any time when looking straight on at the insert.

This one has width already doubled (so don't double this again). Someone correct this data if wrong.

The flaws in the text should disappear when printed to the smaller size but if they don't I'll fix it.

COP is marked by the line with the red glow. =)

And I left plenty of room for signatures too, which is why its so empty.

sorry if I wasn't clear. Signatures will be on the back of the page, so you don't have to worry about leaving space for those. They won't be visible when rolled in, you actually have to take out the insert and unroll it to see all the signatures.

Also half the width is visible, in this case, we will never see either the black dot or the white dot. We do only half, with the other half serving as a "buffer"

Also the black color is not uniform (not sure if that was intended)

The insert should be made to fit in a Ballsign. Bonkura doesn't spin MX. :rolleyes:

hmm all you did was reverse...? if I print it backwards, the letters are going to be read upside down!. can you move the text and logo from v2 to the top of the insert

The insert is nice but couldn't you find a nicer world map pic. Like Europe is really weird, there is no Italy and Spain isn't connected to the other part.

Hmm...I kinda expect this to be printed on a special paper, better quality, easier to roll and such to protect the signatures. Normal paper double size would be hard to roll...
But I really like the sweet Daisy insert.

Eh I dunno ask kam? His gathering insert you can take out easy, sign it, and put it back.

he've sent me inserts before, they were normal paper so i dunno what you're talking about. I'm first sender because I have to sign it too.

I've already tested the inserts, they work well.

Ok I just remove insert from gathering mx and feel it it's not normal paper for sure other people could prove that. The thickness could be the same but outer surface is little more glossy. It not really easier to roll, but it's harder to get screwed or folded while rolling. When I meant kam sign it first I mean he sign it and send it to you to sign next.

Meh that doesn't matter I guess if you tested and it worked fine. I just think huge insert is harder to roll.

yea its harder to roll at first, but its more solid. If the roll is more dense, there is less chance to fold it.

Solid white parchment (sp?) paper would work wonders - if you guys are still brain storming.
