Hmm. Last time I spoke to him, he seemed real keen to start getting good at PSing, although that was 3 weeks ago or something :lol: . I'll bug him and find out what's going on.

But I don't know why it down.

If the hoster, i think it was elliot, doesn't want to continue this project i'd be happy to re host the whole thing.

I sent him an E-mail, and tried to speak to him on MSN yesterday afternoon, but so far, no reply.

Is it gone forever, or just for the moment??

Depending on the cost of hosting and if there is a backup I'm sure we can find someone to host it. I may even do it myself. I think PSC is one of the best things to happen to pen spinning in a long time.

How much bandwidth did PSC use monthly while it was up?

Shame. Psconclave was where I learned everything. Also most mods. Hopefully it gets back up

PCconclave is where i learned tricks that usually wont be on normal psing site.

I think he should let someone else host it if he doesn't want to anymore. At least give us the files or the last backup he had.

Elliot told me that his hosting plan has unlimited bandwidth. I think he told me that PSConclave went to 2 gigs/month once.

I ran into that site a few weeks ago when I was looking for a backaround tut. I learned the backaround and sonic inverse both are very sloppy but I do understand how I'm supposed to do the trick. I hope psconclave can make a full recovery. I have only been there for a bit but the site was great. I hope everything works out in the end.

just to let some of you know, i googled psconclave and a specific article, and you can sorta view the cache, except there's no pictures...so yeah, if you really wanna see something, just google it up, i guess...

i looked around for as many settings as i could before, and afaik there wasnt a way admin can backup the wiki

another possibility is people who personally know him, how might be able to access. I dont understand wiki software enough to know much about that though

There is always a way to backup, using phpmyadmin or w/e SQL-CP your host is using.
