Title: Whats The Diff. Between Thumbspin And Thumbaround?
tomit - March 26, 2007 03:29 AM (GMT)
hey guys, I need help with distinguish thumbspin from TA. Is one go around the thumb, the other is "on top" of the thumb?

Yes.
TA = Around the thumb
TS = On top of the thumb

*Eburt smacks tomit :P
Firstly I moved this to advanced tricks, since TS is considered advanced...
Second, yeah you basically got it right. The most noticable diference is that a TS can do many rotations (so far, up to 17.5) where as a TA only does one rotation, around the thumb, rather than on top of it.

or, if you mean a tutorial...
http://turtlespin.rbhscsf.org/modules/arti...ticle.php?id=30 <-eh... pretty crappy, but check PS conclave when its back up... bascally just keep doing TAs, and you'll likely start doing them by accident every now and then... thats basically how I learned it.
