Title: Triangle Spin
Flip - March 26, 2007 05:04 PM (GMT)
Basically, you just do a
triangle pass and then stop moving your fingers and let the pen spin on top of the "triangle".
Here is a video:
Breakdown:

Yea ive done this a couple of times (accidentally) when doing triangle passes.... i just figured it was one of the endless types of spins and didnt really need a name.... you can also link this after a thumbaround.... its a pretty easy way to get into the "triangle spin"...

its still looks like a triangle pass or like.. i dunno a FL triangle pass or something.. if you could separate the fingers and let it spin on top of one finger it would be cool..
strat1227 - March 26, 2007 07:43 PM (GMT)
no.... triangle pass does.... well... a sequence of passes lol....
this just spins on top of the three fingers without the passes.
Although I agree that the 1 finger thing would be uber cool :D

Reminds me a lot of basketball spin. In fact if you remove the thumb from the equation and just spin on the middle finger with an index push that is exactly what you are doing.

i thought the fingers had to be fully extended and vertical for that.... i guess i never really got that info from anywhere, just what i thought .... i guess i could be wrong....

a really good triangle pass kinda slides at the tip of your fingers.. which is why you need to have you fingers pointing to the ceiling while doing it

Is it possible to do a Triangle Pass>Basketball spin 12-23-34 transfers?
or can anyone do it?
ShoeMan - March 27, 2007 01:31 AM (GMT)
that triangle spin just came up give the people a chance to breath before they put it into crazy ass combo's :P

I think a triangle spin 1.5 would look good. 0.5 though, it's kinda hard to tell from simply doing the pass.

umm...nice would basketballspin t12 or 3 fingers basketballspin be a better name? I mean if we want to keep all the naming simple.

but basketball spin rotates in the opposite direction... :?
@almightymalachi: Since I'm the only man on Earth capable of doing basketball spin 123-234-34 so far, I might have the best chance of doing this :P

Zombo - March 28, 2007 01:54 PM (GMT)

Triangle Pass-> Thumb spin looks much better because you can normally make more Spins.
